Great House

This is an excellent place to stay if you’re looking to enjoy Lake Austin. We rented for an annual fishing weekend and had an amazing time. The house is perfect for small groups. Fishing from the dock was amazing. They also have canoes and kayaks available for use which was a major convenience. We met the owner at the end she lives nearby she was so nice. We will definitely stay here again for our trip.

We planned our family vacation to Streetman and had another air bnb booked. We arrived to plumbing issues and had to quickly divert and find a new place to stay. We found this beautiful home of Kendall’s and were so appreciative of the quick response time and flexibility the host provided with us. Kendall’s home is BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, and full of every single thing you would need when vacationing. We were extremely impressed and so grateful for an accommodating host. Our two pups were in love with this spot as well. We would love to make this air bnb our annual vacation spot. Highly recommend!!

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

We made some amazing memories at the Quiet Cove! Having access to kayaks, paddle board , and fishing from the dock made our stay so much fun. We ended each day around the fire out on the porch with a guitar, diving with the family. The house is super well stocked which made us feel like we were visiting a friend’s home, not just a rental. Thank you for an incredible stay.

The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had such a peaceful feel that made relaxing easy. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway. We loved our stay at this lovely lake side home! It was the perfect little getaway to spend Easter with our family. The guys really enjoyed going out in the kayak and paddle board provided and we all moved the hot tub! Would absolutely return.

We had a good time with our friends. Plenty of space to move around. There were towels and enough washrags provided. There was body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided, and hand soap and toilet paper in the bathroom. It is an older home but everything was clean. The view was great. If you like fishing, bring your poles. They have a couple but they are old, so you will need some hooks and bait (and possibly some line). We could have used some foil and ziplocs. Bring your own. We also enjoyed playing some air hockey and ping pong. Overall it was a great trip. Thanks for the memories. Also the owners messaged us back pretty quickly when we had questions.

This was our second year at Shady Shores and as always it didn't disappoint. We had a great time!

The lake house was wonderful for my wife, son and I. We swam, fished and enjoyed the starlit dock. David was very helpful and welcoming. We will certainly be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was extremely clean and very well appointed. We spent most of our time at the fire pit and outside areas and felt at peace. Jay was super responsive to all our needs and easy to contact. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick getaway.

We were pleased with the space. The bed was comfortable. The linens were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped. Would highly recommend their house!!!

Can I give 10 stars instead? Seriously, one of the best places we have stayed in. ON THE WATER, with a great boat dock. Everything you need plus more! Very clean, very comfortable, STARLINK internet, plus so much more. And host was absolutely FANTASTIC as icing on the cake.

Eirik’s Blue House is perfect for getting away from it all yet enjoying modern amenities in a clean, comfy home and a quiet, rural setting. We enjoyed walks on the property, our meals & time spent on the patio, bird watching & watching the full pink moon rise over the lake. Thank you, Eirik, for a lovely stay.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. Host was extremely helpful with getting around the area, tips, directions and access to the pool and parks!! Very convenient to the grocery store and few restaurants. The house was huge and so peaceful. We fed deer off the porch, had many visit, also a fox and some birds. Amazing views and everything we needed to enjoy our time at the lake. We caught fish at one of the parks even. Such a good time and can’t wait to come back!
