Beautiful view, amazing private deck, gorgeous interior, lots of games and water toys. We really loved our trip!

Immaculate home! Everything was clean, tidy and orderly - easy to enjoy, and easy to clean away when checking out. It truly felt like our own home whilst there. Michael was the perfect host too, responsive when needed, but respected our privacy to enjoy the home. We’ll be back!

Great place for a weekend thanksgiving family retreat. Great area, great view. Very peaceful. Michael was extremely accomodating! The place was very well stocked with cooking utensils pots pans dishes. No need to bring your own. Hot tub was great. Easy to use. We didn’t get to try the kayaks bc of weather but they looked like fun. Next time!

Our stay was wonderful. We've been going to New Braunfels for years and this has been a favorite stay. Check in was easy, the house is in a great spot, has easy river access, and we loved that there was plenty of space for the entire family to spread out and be comfortable. Our one year old grandson had plenty of room to play in a safe place. The sunroom or the screened in porch is a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and having the chairs and BBQ pit were perfect for the evening. We floated twice from Little Ponderosa and got out right at the house which was great especially since some chose to just hang out in the river by the house. We will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you for being great hosts!

Great little cabin with a boat slip. Just what we were looking for. Great area in the Hill Country with lots of restaurants and wineries close by. One word of caution if you are bringing a boat: I have a fairly shallow draft ski boat (1991 Prostar 190) and I drug the prop a few times on the shoals in the channel. There is a very particular route you have to take to avoid them. Entering the channel, stay to the right at the new concrete bulkheads, then stay left all the way to the slip. And go REALLY slowly. My depth finder was acting up so partly on me. Hope that helps someone in the future!

I was looking for a beautiful home to have our small wedding ceremony. i noticed the add said no parties but I loved the pictures the view was spectacular so I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Melinda said I could and gave me ideas an well Saturday we had our wedding and it was absolutely perfect! we arrived at the house and the housekeepers had champagne and roses on the counter with chocolate kisses and petals up to the master bed!deers in the back yard are friendly, hot tub is awesome and the sensory was perfect for my wedding. the showers r amazing! huge kitchen table! comfy couches. Stunning! thank you so much Melinda for making my dream come true!

We stayed in Daniel's Martindale home over Thanksgiving. We had everything we needed to prepare an entire holiday meal. Anything we needed was a short 8 min drive to a Walmart and 2 min drive to nearest gas station/convenience store, yet we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere next to a gorgeous river where we waved at the fisherman floating by and even caught a few fish ourselves. Highly recommend.

Fantastic, I’m planning to come back again!!

We stayed here for a sister’s trip which was a group of 4. We had plenty of room and the location was perfect. It was about a 10 min drive from New Braunfels main stores and 25 mins from River Rd. We enjoyed going in town/being on the river and then back to peace on the lake without the crowds. The place was clean, and kitchen had everything we needed to take turns cooking. We’d stay again!

Julie’s place was amazing. It’s quiet and peaceful. She has everything you would need for your stay. Would definitely book again.

Peaceful, quiet, away from the noise of the city, beautiful view— a perfect weekend getaway. Our dog loved walking along the river. Place was well equipped and has everything that we needed. We arrived at 1 am and there was no power in the house, but other houses had lights so we decided to call the host. They responded and came to fix what was wrong even at 1 in the morning! They also sent us a message with everything that we need to know to make our stay comfortable and smooth. We’d love to come back!

This entire property was beautiful and I’m so grateful I was able to stay so last minute! Travis was very communicative and clear and I look forward to staying here again (hopefully) sometime soon!

Loved this place! The cozy cabin was the perfect place four our quick getaway. 10/10 would totally stay again!

Wow, where to start, just went there this past weekend 11/23-11/25 there are so many things to do and see here from the statues all over the property on the trails, to playgrounds for the younger kids, the pool table, the fishing pond, and the UTV was great to move around the property. I'm probably forgetting something. Angelina and Tomas were super attentive and communications with them were super easy and they always responded quickly. We hope to come back in the future for a longer stay. Thank You Angelina and Tomas.

We enjoyed our weekend stay! The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. We enjoyed all of the amenities that were provided by the host.

There is a nostalgia that you feel right as you walk through the screen door. It feels like being a kid again, filled with pure joy that it is finally summer. We enjoyed every moment in the cabin. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us!

Amazing stay. Erin met us and gave us a tour of the property. There’s kayaks, swimming, games, etc. Tons to do. She was available to answer questions we had if we couldn’t find something. 10/10 would come back⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed at Tom's place for a weekend. It was a wonderful time. We had family come in from Austin, San Antonio and Dallas- it was easy to get there and a convenient location. The house was so comfortable and room for all of us, 6 adults, 3 kids and two dogs. There was plenty to do, badmitten, horse shoes, kayaking and so many amenities, even water shoes and goggles, if you forgot yours. The river is so beautiful and peaceful- we want to go back again. Thanks, Tom we enjoyed our stay.
