Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Central Texas

Some girlfriends and I (plus a baby) stayed here for one night. There was plenty of space for all of us (including a closet big enough for the pack-n-play), and the furnishings were comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed the peacefulness of being outside town, and convenience to Homestead Heritage and Cafe Homestead. Not a long drive to downtown Waco, either!

We had an amazing time! The host was very responsive and accommodating to us, and the house/property is very beautiful. It is a great place to spend time with family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was very clean and had plenty of space. Gina was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful getaway. A bit of a drive from the main road but that was expected. The two donkeys (Buckshot and Bullet) on the property were funny. Randomly would hear them outside. Never got a chance to go and interact with them but it was nice to see. We also saw wild deer grazing the land in the evening hours. Thank you for hosting us!

Nehemiah’s spacious Airbnb near Austin and close to the airport is a truly amazing place to stay! It is large and open-spaced with two floors! It is also kid friendly! It well furnished with comfortable furniture and beds. There are three bathrooms and a very spacious kitchen! You don’t need to bring anything, because his place has everything you need! I strongly recommend this Airbnb and I will gladly stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! We had 3 adults and 4 kids ranging from 9 yrs old to 2yrs. The pool was a big hit and plenty of room for everyone to swim. The place was very clean and spacious. We were close to the aquarium and sea world and it only took about 30 minutes to get to downtown San Antonio. The neighborhood is quiet and we saw several deer while we were there! Richard was quick to respond and let us know when someone was coming to clean the pool. He left a goodie basket for the kids which they loved! We would definitely stay here again.

This house was beautiful! Super cozy to stay in, my guests and I really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were generously spacious and clean, so were the bathrooms. The times I chatted with her you could just tell how caring and attentive she is! The backyard being ample enough for children and a good barbecue was definitely a plus. Would without a doubt book again if we ever get the opportunity:)

We love this place! This might sound silly, but one of my favorite things was that there was open shelving to put our things on. Made life easy. The bed was comfortable, even though we had to work each day. We still enjoyed staying here. It’s nice to relax at the end of a long day. Looking forward to coming back again.

This hidden gem is perfect for a mini-getaway. It’s situated in a nice neighborhood just mins aways from downtown and the Pearl. We loved how its very secluded(what we wanted). We were able to relax for a minute in peace and quiet but then jump on the highway within minutes when needed. Joe was EVER so helpful and flexible with check-in! Ty Joe hope to stay again soon. ☺️

Nicks place was a very nice and clean space right off of the highway in New Braunfels. It was my boyfriend and I’s first time staying in that area as he usually grew up in the San Antonio area. So it was nice to venture out and explore a different city. We also loved that the place was 10 minutes away from Buc-ee’s which was a highlight, especially if you were looking for gas or snacks. Now the only little con would be that in the bedroom is a hallway light outside that can be bright at night throw the curtains but, with some black light curtains that would definitely help. Also a great breakfast place that we’d recommend is called Breakfast. Which is about 10 minutes away from the Airbnb. But, all in all I would definitely stay again especially to explore in the city more.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect location for us! We mostly took Ubers around but did walk from S. Congress once and the walk was not bad at all. Very private and quiet neighborhood. Our code didn't work right away, but the host responded quickly and got us in (and even allowed us to check in a little early!). Great place to stay, would stay here again if we come back to Austin!

Our stay at Rachel’s was perfect, very nice spacious home that is within a couple miles walk of lots of amazing restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend

This place is very comfortable and cozy! No issues with parking and is a Home away from home with dishes to use etc. There's a Great size TV to binge watch shows/movies after exploring the city! The Hosts are very responsive! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! 🙌

My wife and I went to the pickle festival at the fairgrounds, and this location was perfect. Could walk to the fairgrounds and downtown is a 5 minute drive. The condo was homey, clean, and perfect for our weekend getaway. Carrie was very friendly and responsive, couldn't ask for a better host. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly as described. The host was great at communicating everything we needed to know to gain access. The location was in a great spot and walkable to many local attractions like the Magnolia Market and Dr. Pepper museum.

This place was just right for what we needed. We stayed a full week and I don’t regret it. Parker was very responsive when we needed help.

Different unit but we’ve stayed at the property another time and love the location. Easy walk to downtown, Landa Park and we joined the gym Das Rec for a month, great value. Fun to watch the activity on the Comal and the golf course from your balcony. The unit itself has comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, patio had lounge chairs and a dining set, all just as shown in the listing. Saundra was great throughout the process. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, Natalie generously let us check in early and made sure our place was ready. Location is very close to downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. Space was well stocked with cookware, spices, cooking oil, coffee and bedding/towels

I’ve stayed at this complex several times. It’s the absolute perfect location for floating. The tubes rentals are literally feet away. The pool is right by the river and has a jacuzzi. What an amazing view from this place. There are picnic tables conveniently located on the berm overlooking the river. Several BBQ pits for grilling. The large trees provide shade. This is my go-to place for my weekend river floats!

This place was perfect for a girl’s trip. Parking and access to the unit was so convenient. The elevator was a plus for us. It was easy to get to and very peaceful and quiet. It was fun photographing deer on the ground in the afternoons. We loved our stay! Can’t think of one negative thing to say.
