Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Central Texas

The house was absolutely wonderful for my group of 4 bodybuilders in town for a team workout! I also loved the office space in the backyard where I could go to privately work. Bedrooms were perfect, the added on den was great, and overall loved the home. Will stay again here next time we are in town if possible!

We liked Catalina’s place in a quiet neighborhood and felt at home. It’s close to the Main Street and all major roads. It’s a clean and modern house with very comfortable beds.

The pictures really don’t do this place justice…it’s so much more beautiful when you walk in. The personal touches and communication will definitely bring us back again. In my book it was worth the value, located perfectly, and so comfortable. I haven’t slept that good in a long time.

Great place for a peaceful getaway, beautiful home, and tastefully decorated

This is a beautiful home with lots of things to do inside and outside of the home. There are lots of games and plenty of amenities to keep you busy just around the house. This is a great location for families or people getting together for a trip. The location of the house is about 25 minutes from the UT stadium and the sixth Street area.

Place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room for a couple families. Close to the little league baseball fields

We really enjoyed our quick getaway! The apartment was so nice and I loved the amazing bathroom. We would love to come back.

Was great nights sleep. All the needs for a stay over. Views were beautiful. Is the sort of place you really need curl up by river and read. Unfortunately, we were booked solid and did not have time to sit out near water and enjoy.

Well equipped, comfortable, and spotless place… location is very peaceful and serene… Overall we had a great stay! Few nitpicks to note: 1. Hard to comprehend from pictures alone how low the lake is. There really is no lake access at this time. 2. Not sure I would call “private”. Hosts live upstairs and have a full view of the patio area. Not an issue for us (and hosts are unobtrusive and very friendly) but could be for some 3. I’m very picky about light bulbs so this is a personal preference, but the light bulbs are very bright white LEDs which, in my view, takes away from an otherwise warm space.

Rodney was a great host who was able to accommodate for me very last minute and did everything possible to make my trip easy and comfortable. I felt very welcomed by him and would look forward to staying again with him.

Great spot especially if you are renting a car! Close enough to downtown, and walkable to many restaurants! Place was clean, loved the espresso machine and the Samsung washing machine, both were enjoyed during our stay. You can easily have 3 guests, one on the bed, one on the couch, and one on the air mattress!

The interior of the house was very nice. Bedroom was great just that I was hoping for the room to have a bigger tv.

Wonderful apartment in a great location! Super close to Santa’s Wonderland which we were in town for, but also close to TAMU and other things to do in town! It is a quieter area of town which was excellent for bringing the family!

Cabin was easy to find and in a great location. We used it as a base camp to explore other areas of the hill country. Cabin had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for our family. There was some pretty neat antiques throughout giving it a nice home like feel. It is a large property so the neighbors are not too close, and the road is private so there is very little traffic. There was lots of wildlife around in the morning and evenings and the stargazing was nice. The river going through the back was dried up during our visit, but if you stay when it is flowing that would make it even better!

Fantastic space for our large group to meet up. Huge kitchen was great for gathering, and serving enough food. The kids had plenty of room to run around and play and explore. Being pet friendly was fantastic! Janice was very responsive and did her best to help us troubleshoot any issues we had.

Postcard Cabins has been the best retreat I've found compared to similar "glamping" accommodations. Number one: it's very peaceful. The cabin itself is very well designed, especially the giant window making one feel connected to nature and letting in lots of light. The shower is very nice too, and the bed comfy. There is a lot of thought and care out into the experience. The included package is generous with 3 bundles of firewood included. If you plan to cook outside, make sure to bring your own outdoor cooking gear, such as grill tools. I cooked a meal in a cast iron dutch oven on the coals and it turned out great! There is a nice private sitting area outside. Other than a short walk on the walking trail, I stayed inside and read, wrote, meditated, and played guitar. At night, I cooked over the fire and just enjoyed the quiet. Highly recommend.

We had a last minute change of plans and my husband ended up spending the weekend in the cabin by himself. He came back cheerful and restored and has this to say: My stay at the cabin was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. When I arrived there were already snacks and refreshments so I could just relax. It was so cozy I immediately felt at home. All of the lights and appliances were very labeled with clear operating instructions. It was rainy outside so I ended up spending most of my time on the reclining couch building legos and watching TV. It was amazing.

Had a great time . Was peaceful, secluded, and a good location close to activities in Marble Falls and Burnet. Would recommend.

My Dad and I went for an annual golf trip and this was the perfect spot! Not too far from the course/town, but just far enough out to get to enjoy the river and peaceful setting! Carl and Debbie immediately called when I had a question and were very helpful! Will definitely try to book this spot again next year!
