Super convenient location I’ve ever stayed in Penang. Walking distance to everything I needed to go and the bus stop was very close by. The host, Khalid was friendly and nice.

The room is not big but all you need are provided. The bed is 90 centimeters wide with a comfortable pillow. The table is just deep enough to put my laptop. Useful hooks and self are provided so you can hang your towels, bags, hat, etc. There are two clean shared bathrooms. Free drinking water, tissues, fork, plates and cups are provided in the dining room. The host invited me to have a tea in the ground floor. He drove me around Bukit Mertajam and introduced me the new village established in the early 20th centuries. I joined the morning running on Sundays with the host and his friends. The only disadvantage is that my room window is open to the road and it’s little noisy.

Host is so friendly and warm. Room is clean, much cleaner than hotel. Bed is comfy. As a girl, i love the fact they got iron and ironboard too. Definitely will repeat.

I ended up extending by 1 day extra staying here. Able to communicate with host directly and extend my stay with cheaper price. Kudos to host being super responsive and even offer another extension another day, but I got to go already. Rating for the place: Sorrunded by greenery No sound, or noise pollution Super alike and exactly like photo Has washing machine, no dryers unfortunately Bathroom: 4.5/5 (except water low pressure) Bedroom: 5/5 (nice view of ocean) Hallway: 5/5 (clean and super comfy) Kitchen: 4.8/5 (minimalist kitchen with enough space for even 3-4 people cooking at once) It was amazing quite and peaceful retreat for me.

Great clean place, well organised, perfect for staycation, loved the views. If you're looking for a place away from bustling city to relax and spend time in peace, this is the place. Keep in mind, markets or shops or beach is not at a walking distance but that's what makes it quiet. Hosts were responsive and nice, great place! ☺️

Lost Paradise is truly a little oasis in a beautiful garden with two great pools. We had the Marwa Suite and it was super, beautifully big and spacious, with two balconies. We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed it very much. In the complex there is the Buri Buri Café where you can get breakfast and snacks, all very delicious. But you should know that this is a photo hotspot and therefore a lot of people come there. However, the hotel's own areas are only accessible to the hotel guests. Other restaurants nearby are only accessible by grave.

Great value for the money. Very nice host. Very nice host. Rooms are very small, but everything you need is there. At the entrance is a small kitchen and a table. You can easily talk to other guests.

We stayed at Jamie’s place for 3 nights during our trip to Penang. The location was conveniently close to everything within Georgetown. The room was spacious and spotless, and the shared bathroom felt almost private. Having free use of the washing machine was a great perk, as was the water refill upstairs. Thanks for a great stay, would definitely return on our next trip to Penang!

Location is perfect as it is near major eateries. Doors have safe access using modern locks. Bed linens and Towels are crisp, clean and soft. We love the rare and enriching experience of living in a heritage home.
