Vacation rentals with lake access in Central America

We came back to this house because we loved it the first time. Carlos is very kind. In addition, he leaves excellent instructions to find the place.

Everything was beautiful!! Great location, very private and peaceful. Loved the temperature controlled pool!! And most of all Josue made such a huge difference in our stay. He was attentive, helpful and super friendly! Definitely recommend this location, my family and I had a blast!

Love the view and spacious feeling of the downstairs, one large open room with windows on three sides and a great balcony! A great location with easy access to everything San Pedro! It is the windy section of the lake and the weather howled. The condition of the property was good relative to where it is.

A really cute, clean place. The area right in the lake shore is very pretty the kids enjoyed it. We had a great family time with the people who support very collaborating.

The houses and the employees are very nice. Thank you for all your help. The only think is the internet es very bad and slow conexión the same with the cable TV.

I can’t say enough about Jennie and her beautiful home. Our family of five all had enough space to spread out. She provided a lot of recommendations and was very responsive which is nice when you are visiting another country. Her recommendations were spot on and we had a blast visiting this beautiful part of the world.

Stunning views and a quick walk to town! We didn't see better views of Lake Atitlan from any other place. It was a joy to relax in the house and take it all in! When we needed to get into town for groceries and to restaurants, we took a pleasant walk through local roads, always passing by a tuk tuk if we wanted a ride instead.

Luz is such an amazing host! She made us feel extremely welcome, went out of her way to recommend places to us. Extremely responsive communication, very friendly and we loved our stay. The location is great and she recommended us a place to rent a golf cart which was great. Very close to town centre all within walking distance. Apartment was nice and clean, we had no trouble at all.

Ana is the best host! She was always very responsive and she helped us a lot with whichever we wanted! The apartment was beautiful with private surroundings, very clean, very well equipped kitchen! Everything was spotless! We totally recommend! Thank you Ana!

It is identified or better than in the photos, the restaurant staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed, we would definitely come back a thousand times.

We had an incredible stay at the casita. The glass house and grounds are spectacular, and the space is much roomier than it looks in pictures. Raquel made dinner for us while we stayed at the house, and we found it easy to get around the lake to explore villages by taxi boat. Matthew was very welcoming and answered all of our questions; we would love to be back one day! Don’t wait to book this magical place :)

The place is perfect to get out of the routine and enjoy a quiet atmosphere, the gardens are beautiful, perfect for reading and meditating. In addition, Bruce is very friendly and supports at all times by resolving inquiries.

What a beautiful location and a superb host! The house was nicely appointed with great space. Leonardo was extremely responsive and helpful. Loved all the lush surroundings and wildlife. Other than the birds chirping, nice and quiet. The swimming pool was an unexpected treat…after our hike to La Fortuna waterfall. Lots to do in the surrounding area, just need to drive a bit. Loved our stay, highly recommend trying it!

Beautiful nested place in the mountains with a magnificent lake Arenal view. Unfortunately, we had terrible rainy weather and could not really do much but the place was perfect even when we lost power. Highly recommend and Ericka was always ready to help! Great hosting and stay!!!

We could not recommend this place more highly, the photos absolutely do NOT do it justice! The house is beautifully decorated, clean and spacious, with amazing views of the lake and garden from every window. It also has a little kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal if you’ve brought groceries from Panajachel. The jetty is the most peaceful and beautiful spot for swimming and sunbathing, and you can get dropped directly onto it whenever you take a boat to and from Panajachel or one of the other towns on the lake. Galileo, the property manager, lives next door and is so helpful with answering any questions you have (he only speaks Spanish but is very handy with Google Translate) and his wife even did our laundry for us for a small fee. Must stay here if you are coming to the Santa Cruz area!!

The cottage itself was clean and stylish. We got to wake up to the stunning lake views and could easily explore San Pedro with TukTuks. Marcos was also so welcoming and kind and offered so much help. This is one of the best Airbnb experience we ever had. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely few days staying at Aline & Mikael’s home. The walk up is tough, but nothing I hadn’t read about in the reviews & perfect prep for our next stop in Guatemala hiking Acatenango. I would definitely recommend staying here to anybody visiting the Lake, it was nice and peaceful with a stunning view to wake up to & do some morning yoga. We found it nice to be away from the hustle & bustle of the towns, which helped us appreciate the tranquility of the lake and all of its biodiversity. The house is situated just off of a hiking trail which we used one day to walk to Tzununa & beyond. There were a couple of one off issues with the hot water and plug seal in the tub but once we let them know it was fixed for us right away, no complaints. Thanks for letting us stay in your amazing home!
