Beachfront vacation rentals in Central America

We had a fantastic stay at Ellie’s house in Providencia! Communication with Ellie was perfect from start to finish. Her mom lives right behind the house and was always available to help with anything we needed, even washing our laundry for a small fee. Ellie also arranged a golf cart for us, which made exploring the island super easy. The location was unbeatable! We could hear the soothing sound of the waves as we went to sleep, and the supermarket was just a 2-minute walk away. There were two diving centers nearby, and one of the most beautiful beaches was less than 5 minutes away by foot, with two great beachfront restaurants. It was the perfect getaway!

Beautiful place! Both the condo which is very beautiful, very pleasant with its terrace as the beach which is extraordinary! This is a building that has great security. Caretakers monitor those who come in & out. There are strict guidelines at the pool but we had no inconvenience with that. The condo was not ready for the indicated time, but it is possible that there was a delay, and there are not enough utensils for the required number of people but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. A place that I would highly recommend!

We stay at a lot of extended stays at AIRBNBs around the world, but this has been by far our best experience. We came for the entire month of January to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary on a beach in Costa Rica and fortuanately found this place. It was exactly as described and then some. We had no car so Spencer arranged a shuttle from the San Jose Airport and then we walked to get around Jaco. The location of the place is perfect: a secure, gated abode 2 minutes from the beach. It is a 20 minute beach walk to the Jaco strip where anything can be found. There is the best vegetable and fruit store a ten minute walk with great prices and accepting credit cards with English speaking employees. The location of the AIRBNB is on the quiet south part of the Beach where the riptide is not so bad and the surfing is great. Recommend renting a board from the South Beach Hotel left on the beach: $15 per day and umbrellas with 2 chairs for 20. We will be back.

Amazing Stay at Pipas Surf House! We had an incredible time at Pipas Surf House! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for surfers and travelers looking for a great place to stay. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was local recommendations, surf advice, or just great conversation, they made our stay even better. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect surf getaway. If you're looking for a laid-back, homey place to stay with an incredible gym, Pipas Surf House is the spot. We can’t wait to come back!

If you are considering booking this place stop considering and book it. Everything was excellent and I literally have no complaints. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I and our 4 kids LOVED this house. We spent a week there and it was perfect for us. The beach was amazing - great for swimming and playing at high tide and great for walking at low tide. The house had chairs and boogie boards we enjoyed. The pool was awesome. The views of the pool and beach from the deck great. We really appreciated the AC and the ice maker when it was hot outside. House was clean and comfortable. Really cannot say enough how much we loved this location and house.

Stacey’s place is amazing. Close / walkable to the little downtown. You are on the beach AND a jungle paradise. We saw coatis, toucans, monkeys, parrots, an agouti, heard howler monkeys, iguana. The home is comfortable and has everything you need. It rained a ton and there’s no dryer but there’s a laundry service in town. Bring extra towels for the beach. We cooked most nights and breakfasts and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. Ximena is so kind and responsive and Jairo was so helpful. We highly recommend staying in this beachside paradise.

The place is wonderful, clean, private and welcoming. We will definitely return my family. Vidal was aware of anything we needed. We felt very safe.

Just finished a 3 night stay and have to say we ALL were EXTREMELY impressed with the cleanliness and hospitality we received. Johanna took pride in her work as the place was absolutely spotless upon arrival. The house, pools and ocean view were outstanding!! It was a special vacation which will long be remembered. The house had EVERYTHING possibly needed and Johanna was there to answer any questions. We are very picky travelers and honestly this was truly one of the cleanest and well kept Airbnb’s we have stayed at. Thank you Norma for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous home!!! If I could give a ranking above 5 stars I would….as it was 5 stars all the way!!!! Stay here and you will NOT be disappointed.

This is our second time staying. The hospitality of the caretaking staff is unmatched and Karen (owner) is super responsive. We love Hopkins because it's small, safe, and far away from what feels touristy. Having a private beach is amazing, especially with kids. They love playing in the sand, trying to beat us at bocce ball (provided by the house), and walking next door to Mango's for an easy meal. For our family of four, this house has been a great find.

The place is just as it appears in the photos. Very comfortable house. Very helpful staff and made sure the experience was spectacular. We celebrate my wife's birthday and it was very top ! There were almost 16 of us and we had a great time. The beach area is really a few minutes walking from the house; but it's a few meters . Out of the 5 rooms ; 4 have a bathroom indoors ; Ideal if several families go. A great place that I definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you !!!

My mother, my teenage daughter and I absolutely loved our stay at Susan's place. The beach, only steps away is picture-perfect and private. We took amazing pictures. the house hhas everything we needed to have a most comfortable stay and the pool was a perfect size. I cannot wait to return and would definitely book Susan's place again.

We enjoyed a wonderful return visit to Eden Sands! Melissa was very responsive during our visit, answering questions immediately. We were properly pampered by Ms. Diana, Ms. Sheril, Mr. Nigel, and Ms. Lileth. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is an absolute gem, incredibly spacious, fans and AC units to keep you cool during the suns peak, fresh, cool pools that help fight that heat off as well, and of course, the beach being your backyard. The drive from the airport and even the capital is manageable, and easy to get to. I can’t wait to stay with Pedro again

Exceptional stay at Yanira's house. It's in a lovely private neighborhood with a small beach and trees everywhere. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and we loved having Daniel around as well. The house is perfectly situated between the two main surf / beach towns in the area.

We were 11 friends/family celebrating my 40th birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Playa Matapalo right out the door, a pool with a view, private and beautiful rooms (that make it feel like you have privacy but also are sharing space with family and friends when you want), and the best concierge team you could ask for!! We just fell in love with Flori, Jackson and Coco (our chef for a few nights) - they literally went above and beyond to make sure our week was perfect. We cannot wait to come back to this piece of paradise in Costa Rica!! Thank you Paola & Perry for sharing your space - we feel so fortunate!
