This is one of the nicest units I rent. The space is in an historic renovated building in downtown Fair Haven, VT. The space was originally used to manufacture shirts. I have divided the 1600 square feet into a two bedroom loft. It has very high ceiling and windows. It is very spacious and has been completed updated. The loft has it's own kitchen (not shared) and it's own lock and key. Since it is on the third floor of the building, it is very quiet and secure.

When life gets hectic and overwhelming, this place is the perfect little getaway. It smells wonderfully of wood and is so cozy. As a city girl I love that they made it easy to stay in the woods and enjoy the lake, including things like life vests and pre chopped wood and fire starter kindling. Very quiet and restorative and perfect for a girl and her dog. Definitely will return for a longer stay.

The old firehouse in Arkville was great. Lots of that Catskills charm decorated with antiques. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. We almost regret making dinner reservations because there was a full kitchen, fully stocked and there was a large dining table. The furniture is also big and comfy for a chill evening in. The location is really convenient, a 10 min drive to Belleayre, 3 mins to the grocery store. I also like that the host didn’t have a ton of rules about clean up and laundry. We are pretty neat but it’s nice to not have to worry about removing linens or finding a remote trash location. The host and her partner were super friendly and helpful!

Karen and Doug’s loft was the most restful, comfy, cozy place! It had beautiful wood panelling, a wonderful bed, stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace that produced a lot of heat, and beautiful views of Bearpen Mountain. The location was also amazing - close to two peaks to hike, and drivable to really delicious restaurants. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough!

My husband and I were very pleased with all the nest had to offer. Not a large space, but so artfully utilized with high ceilings and tastefully appointed furniture it had that welcoming feeling of “always room for one more” though we were only two. There are stairs to the Nest, but safely and newly carpeted so that even our 15 yr old Cockerpoo felt confident scampering up. Well lite (which is rare for an Air B&B) , comfy bed, quiet, great pots to cook with, no corners cut in any respect. Butter and cream and healthier than usual snacks awaited. No harsh chemical cleaning smell in sheets, towels, or space, though nevertheless managed to be spanking clean. A feeling of generous hospitality with great privacy as well. Want to return!

Graham and Alex were very responsive to messages and provided us with everything we needed. They made sure to set-up the hot tub for us early, so we could enjoy it before it started raining that night. The loft was very clean and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back!

Great little spot. Convenient location off of highway to access either Saratoga, Albany, and/or surrounding areas. The shower is small, but we were well aware of that prior to booking. Check-in was super easy, and communication with host was pleasant and prompt. Certainly would book again if traveling to that area.

We had a very nice time at Tim’s place. It was very clean and cozy. The views were amazing from the window overlooking the back with the lake. The space heaters did a great job at heating up the loft. We were very comfortable. I had planned to do some kayaking but it was a little too chilly/windy in the morning and we got caught up hiking and seeing some sights in the area for the afternoon when it warmed up! We had dinner at Lanzis lakeside tavern it was delicious and people are so friendly! All in all we had a great time with our 2 dogs and they loved running around the large yard. Stargazing was spectacular , just such a pretty area!!

A large, unique space unlike anything else I’ve stayed in. Felt very cozy despite the size. I actually liked that there wasn’t a TV or any distraction. Can certainly hear other units & the restaurant downstairs clearly but that noise was daytime/waking hours only and not a detractor. As one would imagine, not a lot in town but within striking distance of Bennington, North Adams, and other Berkshire towns.

Sherman and Denice’s loft was cozy, clean, and on a beautiful lake. The location was centrally located to everything including Jacob’s Pillow, Tanglewood, Berkshire Theaters, and Ashuwillticook Rail trail. We rented e-bikes for the first time for this rail trail. Was a highlight of the trip. We enjoyed kayaking and hanging out by the lake. A very zen, relaxing stay! The communication was wonderful! The loft had lots of information about activities, restaurants, etc.
