Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cape Fear River

We stayed for four weeks and had a fantastic time. Marina was a great communicator and check in was simple. The house is fully stocked with a number of extra touches that make it feel like home (I appreciated the soft mat in the kitchen, the kids couldn't even use all the beach toys, there were so many). The beach is such an easy walk that we would even go when we only had ten minutes to spare. The final major plus for us were the showers, indoor, outdoor, and foot bath, all just as we would do it if we owned the place. Thanks Marina, we had a great visit!

By far the most immaculate and wonderful experience we’ve had at an airbnb! The game room and out door games had my kids in the highest spirits with a beautiful yard they were able to run around and play in!

Matt and Dawn's place is very comfortable! The house had ample space and the kitchen was well equipped. The space was comfortable for us and our dog. A dog bed, and bowls were supplied, as was a towel to wipe paws! A toy would have been supplied, but at 15 our old lady is no longer interested. The property is on a cul-de-sac and the back yard is quiet and large. The neighborhood is very walkable. We will definitely be staying there the next time we are in Raleigh!

Exactly as depicted and pictured. The neighborhood was quiet and a reasonable drive to other parts of the city. Beds were very comfortable and lots of amenities were provided to accomodate our stay. We traveled with a kiddo and there were lots of exciting toys for them to play with. The swings in the back were a big hit too! Highly recommend!

Clare was a great host! She was very friendly and communicative and left perfect instructions, plus recommended local spots to check out! Her house was very clean, and it worked out very well for myself & my friends! I’d definitely recommend her place and would be happy to stay here again in the future!

We have been working in the Lake City/ Johnsonville SC area for more than 3 months, and I could not be more grateful to have been able to reside at this property. Mr. Johnny and his staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that my crew and I have been well accommodated. The quarters are exactly as described in the listing(s), and represent a real savings, particularly for lengthy stays such as our own. Each unit was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The location is kind of tucked away in a very quiet setting that affords safety, solitude, and relaxation. After 12 hour days, we each were happy to return the comforts of these units. Granted, its not the Four Seasons nor the Hilton; but, the value that these units represent is unparalleled. I've enjoyed my time at the property, and I plan to continue to schedule our stay with Mr. Johnny once we return from the Holiday Break. These units have been our Home Away From Home, and I give Mr. Johnny 5 Stars without hesitation.

Great location with just what you need for a few nights at the beach! It's only a few blocks from everything in CB but on a quiet residential street so you can get your rest. Easy parking right in front of the house too. The place is pretty basic but the point of going to the beach is to be outside anyway! It's the perfect place to come back to after tiring out the dogs at the state park or Freeman Park.

This was an awesome place to stay. Will definitely stay again if it’s still available and anyone looking to stay here I would definitely suggest it.

loved the vibe of the place, super cute environment/home decor and exterior space + my dad came to fish so we were looking for a good spot close enough to the pier/clean and quality/affordable and this truly checked off all boxes + all around perfect spot I would say my only thing I wasn't super happy about (but that we did find a solution to) was the bathroom situation: the locks are on the bedroom side and not on the doorknob itself, which is fine if both doors shut completely but the master/larger bedroom bathroom door does not shut completely and my dad was in that room so if I had to use the toilet and avoid being seen it would have been awkward since the door opens towards the larger space of the room/bedroom entrance door -> BUT we did solve this with stuffing a towel in between the door to keep it shut, I didn't have time to read all the other reviews so don't know if others mentioned this, but yeah solution works :) all-in-all, highly recommend

My friends and I had a great time at this place! The condo is very homey and enjoyable to stay in, it wasn’t far from the beach and it was super easy to check in and out of. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful area to enjoy walking around the historic district and riverfront

Sarah’s place was exactly what I was looking for…walkable to the beach (simply across the street!)…for my first time at Holden Beach. She was incredibly responsive and the place was so welcoming and modern. Very friendly neighbors, too! I would not hesitate to stay again or rent another property from Sarah. So glad I found it!

The condo was fabulous. Everything was as described. Very clean and well furnished. Quite location. Easy access to restaurants and entertainment. Leo provided excellent and fast communication. Felt very welcomed when we arrived. Would definitely stay at this property again. Many thanks !!!

We had 7 people—parents and 5 kids ages 11-24. The unit was clean and inviting. Tastefully decorated, but kept simple, which we liked for a rental. Even though the kitchen was not as modern as some we have stayed in before, everything worked well, and you could have several people in there at once, which was nice with 5 adult sized people in this unit. We could easily fit all 7 of us at the DR table. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nicely done. The deck was a good size, and the view was great! The closet off the deck had everything you needed for the beach, (chairs, sand toys, umbrella, boogie/skim boards, etc) and beach towels were provided inside the master bedroom closet. So nice to not have to bring all of that along! The access to the beach was wonderful, the kids could run back and forth without an adult along, if they forgot something inside. *The outside shower is by the pool.* The hosts were quick to respond throughout our entire process. The parking was not ideal.

Crystal’s place was super awesome. Ten times previous better than an Airbnb that I rented in 2022. I thought about not ever renting an Airbnb ever again. But this gave me hope. If I decide to visit Myrtle Beach again, I’ll look at this one specifically. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your house.💕💕💕

I stayed at Jill’s Airbnb in North Myrtle Beach from July 27-29, and it was an amazing experience! Jill was a fantastic host, going above and beyond to accommodate all my special requests effortlessly. The room was spacious, clean, and well-organized, with thoughtful notes around the space to help keep everything in order and enjoyable for the next guests. The condo’s location couldn’t be better—just a five-minute drive to Barefoot Landing and eight minutes to the beach, making it perfect for exploring the area. Jill was very responsive to all my messages, making communication a breeze. My kids also loved playing the board games available, adding extra fun to our stay. If you’re looking for a perfect place to stay in North Myrtle Beach, this is it! I would give it 10/10 stars. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at this air bnb and it’s always a great time with the family. Ocean Keyes is a quiet spot with multiple private pools, a quick walk to the beach, and super close to restaurants and night life. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to MB!
