A 'blue bus' route is located 8 min walk up the road. For adrenaline fuel visit the Adventure Park, downhill mountain biking a 20 min drive away.

OCEANSIDE RETREAT

A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Situated in a private lifestyle setting and just a short walk to the beach and access to the West Coast Cycle Trail. We offer a queen bedroom with bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with filtered water in the room and a microwave for heating your pre cooked meals. On site parking and outdoor seating to enjoy our beautiful sunsets. There is a takeaway/dairy close by as well as Hotel/ Restaurants all just a short drive or cycle. Recently renovated light,airy studio with separate bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet.15 stairs to negotiate to the Apartment as the owner lives downstairs.I include a continental breakfast Semi rural outlook, 5 minutes to airport, 3 minutes to Bishopdale mall (by car). Awesome location !!! Modern self contained cosy space completely private from the road as a back section with off street parking. Great neighbourhood, with a bus stop at the end of the driveway the central city is an easy 10mins away. A short stroll and you have supermarkets, restaurants, bar, chemist, cafe etc I am happy to help if you have any questions about the area.
