Wow what a stunning spot! So serene, beautiful surroundings and the property is everything you could dream of. Great products, well set up in terms of cooking, fire place etc. The outdoor bath was a highlight!

Great place to relax while being close to Mt Cook to enjoy all the hikes. The place has everything from slippers to use to a bunch of blankets to snuggle under. It felt like a step up in luxury from a normal place.

If you are thinking about staying here - stay here! A standout experience of thoughtful accommodation. Guided to the cabin by solar lights on the driveway, the cabin was spotless and welcoming. The spa is fantastic, and the surroundings are stunning. Lots to do in the surrounding areas but plenty to keep you occupied just on the property. A favourite Airbnb stay for sure!

Kimberley and Shane’s little peice of paradise was absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and well kept. All the modern appliances too. Kimberley and Shane responded quickly to any txts and made it clear that they were right there if we needed them. We arrived late at night to a cosy and warm home and a fresh bunch of picked flowers and a bottle of good ole Kiwi Mosacto.. was yummy! The whole property is stunning! Waking up in the morning with the sun beaming through was just something else… and sitting in the sun having coffee with the fresh morning air.. you can’t beat it! At night we lit the outdoor fire and just enjoyed the night sky and chill environment.. Once again.. Thanks to Kimberley and Shane.. We will definitely be back..

Tony is an amazing host, he was very accommodating to our needs and last minute changes! was helpful without invading our privacy. Our girls loved the cows and horses in the paddock outside. Highly recommended!

Stunning quiet location, very warm and cozy, great shower pressure and absolutely loved the pool table! Didn’t miss having a tv at all - lovely to be off-grid for a change. Huge deck which is all covered and would’ve been great if it was raining! But we had beautiful weather so also had no issues with solar power. Felt very lucky to be able to have our dogs with us. They had the best time too. Thanks so much, we had a great couple of nights.

Excellent base camp to get organised for hiking in the area. Super comfy bed to recharge. Would visit again

Thanks for sharing your wee spot with us. Super peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath and logburner. The beds were very comfy too and warm duvets snd blankets! Lincoln and Leeston very close for a coffee or dinner. Drove to Taumutu.....wild and wonderful beach for walking. Amazing colours.

Wonderful stop at the edge of the woods on our drive through the farmland of Canterbury region. Our stay was short but had everything we needed. It was a rainy afternoon when we checked in and the hosts had started a fire for us so it was ready upon our arrival. We cooked our own dinner in the well-appointed kitchen (grabbing groceries in Methven before arriving), and enjoyed reading the books that were stocked in the cabin about quintessential life in NZ. Rams and horses grazed in the field just beyond and there is a bath tub for unwinding after a long day on the road. Bed was super comfortable. We really felt like we were staying at a friends place. It was a real slice of local life.

James was a great host, very helpful and even gave us an upgrade. The setting was great and next to an incredible beach. Bostin!

What a lovely off grid stay! Cost cabin in such an amazing remote location. Was great to shut off and read, sew and nap!

This Airbnb is perfect for a cozy getaway for two. It’s warm, spotless, and offers an absolutely stunning view. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Grace was a fantastic friendly host! She was always responsive and the location itself was superb. Very private and serene. The outdoor bath is such a nice feature to pair with the views. She also recommended us to check out the little river pumpkin festival that was happening the morning after which was very entertaining to attend.

Our second stay at Lime Hut was wonderful, the woodfired sauna was a real treat. A tranquil location to relax and be at peace. Kate and Francois have crafted something really special here, a very unique place to stay. Looking forward to the third!

This place was ideal for my writing retreat. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Having a writing desk and a proper computer chair was a real bonus and meant I could get on with my work and not end up with back ache. Lovely barn eggs and milk left for me too. I already am thinking about when I can come again! Thank you so much for everything!

Ruataniwha Hut is such a beautiful spot! Coming from a country area in aus ourselves, we have a special appreciation for the beauty and the peacefulness of this place 😊 The hut was so cosy, had everything we needed and made for a perfect stay whilst travelling around the area. Huge credit to Andrew who has put in so much effort to make this place special!

I loved my stay at Pete’s Place! It was so warm and cosy, the heated floor was amazing. The cabin was very welcoming and had everything I needed, using the percolator for coffee in the morning was a nice bonus! The area is so beautiful and peaceful too, I wish I stayed longer!

Peaceful little shack in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our week stay in Christchurch. Lesley was very helpful and always responsive. Would definitely stay again.
