Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Caledonia

It's a great place. We were there in winter-ish weather but it would also be a nice place for a summer get-away. The only problem we had was with the internet service. It was an issue with the provider, not the host. But she still took responsibility to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

This was an absolute gem, that I’m still shocked I was able to find! Everything was as described. Check in was super easy. Mark and Jacquline were wonderful hosts. Easy to communicate with and were extremely accommodating. The place felt like home and the cherry on top is that backyard with the lake right at your feet! If I ever find myself in the area again, I will certainly stay here!

The house was nice right by the beach and the area was great. The water was less swim able then desired but I believe it was due to the time of year.

Wow! Stop clicking and looking just accept this place. It is so mid century so gorgeous sooooooo much room. Soooo what are you waiting for. I am picky, some may say too picky but I find gems. This is a gem.

We had a wonderful family vacation with our kids and grandkids. With 10 of us and 3 kids, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There's a beautiful view of the lake and it was shallow off the dock so we were able to relax on our floats. The house had everything we needed for cooking meals and we enjoyed the games that were in the closet! I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation.

Baily's home was perfect for 10 days in Cedarburg with my family. Her home is situated on a quiet cul de sac with a long driveway and huge back yard, complete with a picnic table and tetherball poll! My son had a blast outside and we felt very safe letting him play. There is plenty of space for the fam, it's easy to connect and stream whatever you need, and the huge picture windows let in wonderful views of the surrounding woods. We even awoke one morning to a deer in the back yard. The gas fireplace in the master was a huge plus. Baily was attentive and kind, and the interior design is cool. We were worried that the location wouldn't be "walkable" to Cedarburg's downtown shops and cafes, but it was an easy 7 min. drive to the main drag shops and restaurants - and I think you could walk it if you wanted. The grocery and drug stores are even closer. We preferred the space and yard that the homes just off Washington Ave. don't offer. There is also a running / walk path nearby!

Felt very at home. Lots of room. Cute decorations for Christmas. Loved the surrounding town with friendly neighbors. appreciated the accommodations

What a great location and beautiful home to stay in. We gathered as a family and took a trip down memory lane as we grew up in Waukesha. We plan on returning. Cindy was a great host.

Due to late arrival of our flight, we order Airbnb after 9PM. However, Mike respond to us in less than 10 mins. And self drive to us in person to setup password and show us around (Again it was almost 10PM). Me and my wife had a joyful stay. The place is safe and 5 mins walk to grocery shopping. If you are looking for places to stay for your family, and safety and clean is your consideration. Than Mike's place will be your first choice!

It was so spacious and comfortable, especially with two bedrooms and two bathrooms as it was two couples staying there. I loved all the large windows allowing natural light and the beautiful view of Milwaukee and sunrise and sunsets. The balcony was nice to sit out on and be able to open the door and some windows. Location is fun, plenty of people out walking their dogs, nearby restaurants, next to a really cool looking ice cream place, also had off street parking. I always love to stay in historic buildings, especially ones that have been restored and repurposed such as this one. The old wood doors at entry and steps up to the second floor have character as does the unit itself. The kitchen was clean and modern.

We absolutely adored our stay. The location was perfection, the home was impeccably clean and decorated, and we loved the charm of this place. Worth every penny spent and then some! Host was responsive and gave great instructions for everything.

Beds were comfortable, host was very responsive, kitchen had everything we needed, including Keurig with coffee pods. Really appreciate the flexible check out when something came up. Thank you for the stay!

Out of all the AirBnBs I’ve stayed in, this definitely lands on the top internationally. Excellent for short visits as well as long stays. Host is responsive and amiable, never felt like I wasn’t taken care of. Location is perfect as well, very central and close to everything.

The place was clean, quiet, and safe. It is an amazing location if you are traveling to go out on trails and see nature. Our son left behind a book and the host offered to mail it to us! Very kind of him. We had a great stay.

This was our first AirBNB stay. Everything was nice. Chrissy was quick to answer all our questions. Cedarburg is charming especially at Christmas.

This was the prefect little spot to stay while visiting family in the area. I stayed with my two young kids. The noise from the bar was almost zero and not enough to keep anyone awake (and this was Friday and Saturday night). Beds were comfortable and had lovely linens. The games were a hit with my kiddos. It was cozy and home like. My kids loved it and felt like it was "our little home away from home". Laundry machine was great to use and we did use it (because you know, kids get messy). The bar down below had lovely food and great service. Plan on coming back when I next need to visit the area. St. Francis is so close to downtown and all the amenities out South Milwaukee. The parks on the lake are not to be missed if weather allows.

My cousins and I do an annual get away weekend every year and we were looking for the perfect spot and Abey’s place was it!! We had such a wonderful time! Her responsiveness to any text I sent was responded to immediately. She gifted us a welcoming champagne and even offered an entire dinner on her! We were incredibly happy with our stay, and the place is beautiful!! The layout is so unique and the backyard is like a dream! I am so incredibly thankful for Abey and for making our cousins get away weekend one to remember. We definitely will be back! If you need a perfect stay, no need to look any further Abey’s place is the one!

Truly a gem near Lake Geneva. Plamena’s place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to host our families. It was our first time vacationing again after having babies earlier this year and our toddler had a blast. She won’t stop talking about “her toys” at the airbnb. Plamena’s place is also a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva which was very convenient. Our overall experience was great, Plamena is an amazing host and we look forward to staying with her again in the near future.

Great stay and location!

We were very fortunate to book Wendi’s condo just a couple weeks prior to our trip. We wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday away from Chicago and chose Lake Geneva for the proximity. We found Wendi’s condo to be a perfect combination of location, space, and amenities. Being just a 10-minute drive to Lake Geneva’s downtown allowed us to explore/eat and be back in time to enjoy the sunset and relax. There are Uber drivers around the area so none of us had to draw straws to be the DD. Keep in mind the entire complex becomes very quiet in the evening – this could have been due to us arriving the weekend after July 4th. Luckily, we came up here to relax but if you are arriving with a loud group you may upset the older neighbors. While we didn’t get a chance to use the pool or tennis courts, we did visit The Ridge hotel for its fantastic coffee shop and restaurant. Overall, we had a great time, felt comfortable and got exactly what we came up here for. Thanks Wendi!

Booked the combining rooms for a girls trip and it worked out amazingly! Plenty of room. Being that the property is on the resort and you are able to utilize the trolleys, restaurants and pools making this the perfect spot!! Everyone shared how relaxing and beautiful the resort is, they all want to go back! Highly recommend booking with Anthony!

Absolutely perfect place to host a large group. peaceful neighborhood and lots of space. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Hosts were kind and thoughtful during an emotional time for our family. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous and fascinating historic mansion with a beautiful view of the lakefront. Hosts were responsive, dealing with a few minor issues for us in a timely fashion. This is a great option for a large group and a short walk to downtown Racine - which has lots of coffee shop and dining options.
