Palapa Dos Delfines: A Traditional Yelapa Getaway

AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at Hector’s! It was easy to find and check in, and we immediately felt at home in the space. It’s walkable to town and the beach easily. As others noted there is ATV noise but after a couple of days it became like white noise and wasn’t a big deal. It was fun to hear the ocean, and the sound of horses walking down the path. The patio was a great place to relax and we spent most of our time at the house here on the lounge chairs and the hammock. Love Yelapa and this is a great home base to explore it from!

1Bedroom w/AC in Quimixto Villa Ashanti!

DanielRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A totally remote place, the only access is by boat, that gives it a totally different touch. The villa is in good condition, comfortable, with everything you need, you have the comfort of making your food, in the village you find almost everything, our experience was very relaxing, the village of Quimixto is very quiet. Alejandra was always on the lookout, very kind, she gave me instructions on how to get there although at the beginning if it took us a little to find the accommodation, maybe just missing that; a little more signalling to be able to reach or locate the villa easily, in general our stay was very pleasant and quiet without details some would come back again!

Casa Romina: Beautiful Views of Yelapa Bay

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Casa Romina was amazing. The views of the bay, the location in town, the apartment was so clean, the bed was very comfortable. We absolutely loved our time in Yelapa. Irving was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Judy met us at the pier and walked us to the apartment. The restaurants we ate at were all so good, and within walking distance of the apartment. Yelapa is such a special place to visit.

Casa Fresca

PerlaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Beautiful spot! Vico was extremely helpful and responsive. I did end up using ear plugs a couple of nights as someone was playing loud music, but overall we found it very peaceful. As others have said, there are a lot of steps but they are manageable and the view is gorgeous. I would also recommend you put everything away at night. Think camping. We had a group of raccoons one night.

Casa Sorrisa

LisaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Yelapa is heaven. We returned to Casa Sonrisa in 2024. Our first time back since 2015! Casa Sonrisa is still the perfect place to stay in Yelapa. It is simple and comfortable, safe and relaxing. The house is open to the ocean so you sleep and wake to the sound of the waves; it melds inside and nature. There are mosquito nets to keep the bugs out, but bring bug spray so you can hang out longer before bed. The kitchen provides all you need, bottled water, pots, fridge, coffee maker...all the basics. Karen and her caretaker Marilu take good care of you. If you are a fancy resort person who needs AC, this isn't the house or village for you. The house can be hard to find, so ask for explicit directions. Get a village map at the Bahia Restaurant (which is a great restaurant btw) to learn your way around. If you have an early flight out, plan to stay in Puerto Vallarta the night before. Don't rely on there being a taxi when you get off the 7:00 am panga in Boca.

Casa Karolina

StephanieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We enjoyed the serenity of Diana's place compared to the 'busier' beach areas (it is not a very busy town at all). Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The stores and shops around the village were useful and the walk to the beach was pleasant. Taking a quad with our luggage on arrival and departure was also a breeze. Walking to the beach with a two and five year-old was about a half- hour, 1.5 hours to the up-river waterfall with the kids on a horse, and a easy 10 min walk from 'downtown' to the other waterfall in town. The river allowed for relaxing days and playing for the kids when we did not go the beach. Overall, a very pleasant and happy place to be. We are grateful.

Casa Moonshine - Yelapa Beach House

MervRating, 5 stars60 months ago
We found Casa Moonshine to be a very special place nestled in the jungle but mere footsteps to the beach. It was our first time in Yelapa and it literally took our breathe away. We were greeted by our host only moments after arrival and found the casa to be even prettier than we expected, clean, spacious and an amazing place to wake up in the morning. Bugs were not an issue whatsoever and the locals were some of the friendliest people we met in Mexico. Highly recommend Chicos and the Yacht club for dinner and drinks and the folks at the deposito were a hoot. Can't wait to return! Thank you so much Celene and Allan for an amazing stay.

Casa Arriba overlooking Yelapa Bay

TeresaRating, 5 stars24 months ago
We enjoyed Lance’s place very much. It has lots of spaces to hang out with the group or privately. The scenery is really beautiful, and you are immerse in nature, with the birds sounds (the ear plugs came in handy at night for thee roosters, though) and view of the ocean. The first day we spotted a whale from the deck! There are lots of stairs to get to the house, so you definitely get your workout every time! Lance was very responsive and offered helpful ideas. The town people were very friendly. We got to know the people in the grocery stores after stopping there every day, and there were some great restaurants too, with The Yatch Club and Los Abuelos being our favorites. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us!
