Everything about this accommodation is wonderful: the exquisitely beautiful location and view, the gracious hospitality of the host and her endless special touches and treats, the convenient proximity to magical nature spots, the cleanliness and comfort of the studio…one of our most favorite places to visit!

A beautiful bungalow facing beautiful Cable Bay. It’s a lovely unit with big windows, steps from the sand. It has a nice little kitchen, well equipped, a nice bed, spacious bathroom, all lovely. Brian and Rosemary live in a house behind the unit, and are very helpful and friendly, as are their two dogs. We had a great time.

This is such a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house, picture perfect views. Very comfortable, would be my place of choice for future visits. Highly recommend. Laura’s communication was great!

Quail Lodge is fantastic! The photos in the listing are beautiful but this place really has a wow factor about it in person! It’s very spacious for a 2 person unit, extremely clean, the decor and artwork is top notch and so many thoughtful touches. Absolutely loved our stay, the view is so good, quiet, peaceful, and of birds to spot. Definitely hope to be back as this was one of our fave air bnb stays in NZ for sure!
