Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Buckland

We had a wonderful few days . Wonderful sleep on very comfortable beds. We loved the styling and the huge living areas.. Easy to manage with our elderly mother as she was able to sleep on the same level as the main living area and kitchen and bathroom. We would love to stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

Jan’s shack was just lovely being right on the beach and a short stroll down to the waves. The beds were comfy and we were had everything we could want. We definitely recommend Jan’s shack for anyone who wants to truly take a break from the busyness of the world.

This is a lovely cottage in the heart of North Hobart right near some fantastic eateries and breweries/wine bars. The cottage is quite spacious with a lovely back yard to sit out in and enjoy the garden. Salamanca is only a 30 min walk away (as is botanical gardens) and it’s a great hub to drive the tourist areas. For those travelling with a dog, there’s a dog park just a few blocks down, knocklofty summit walk in West Hobart is an 8 min drive away and a lovely bush walk where the locals go (off leash allowed morning and late afternoon), ‘Room for a pony’ just 2 mins walk away is dog friendly and has amazing pizzas. This is the perfect place to base yourself for a Tassie getaway. The bath is just a divine treat and the writers nook is a cute little place to read or write. Lounge room is very comfy and kitchen has everything you need. Washing machine is very handy. Off street parking is great as Hobart is predominately a paid parking system. Great stay. I’ll be back!

Janet’s place in beautiful South Hobart was perfect for our short stay. The house is lovely and very clean and comfortable, and the local area is terrific!

Tony's Monaray House is an arcade gamers paradise. So many pinball machines, arcade machines free to play. Smart TVs in every room. Projector with High quality sound system for movie nights. Very conveniently located newly built house with all facilities needed for a comfortable stay. We spent 4 nights and it was fabulous. A lot of entertainment for children (especially boys). Electric BBQ. Heated blankets and comfy beds. Huge clean Bathroom. Nice small deck and patio. Highly Recommend.

Lovely little place to stay!

We loved our stay at the house. Lots of space for everyone. Great, fully equipped kitchen that even had some oil and salt! Which was super helpful. The house is 5 minutes walking distance from the main attraction of the Bicheno - blowhole, something that you can watch for hours. Also, house is a walking distance from the Main Street shops and cafes. Great stay, very happy. Thank you, Mark!

Place suited is perfectly. We were a group of 7 and there were enough comfy rooms for all and enough bathrooms. The place was clean, tidy with a well stocked kitchen (saucepans, cutlery etc). Andrew and Lisa were very easy to deal with but they are off site and we never met them. This was not a problem as we had no issues requiring their attention. The only tricky part of the stay was parking. It's a narrow street and parking in the driveway is not easy if cars are parked opposite. A larger vehicle would struggle to get in. So we parked in the street. There was always a space bit it did get pretty busy. Overall, really happy with our experience here.

Fantastic apartment well priced and equipped for short or long stays. Very close to the New Town shopping centre and just a short drive into downtown Hobart. The apartment was very clean and communications from Maggie was excellent. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Hobart.

The apartment is very well situated. Easy to get to downtown Hobart and restaurants. The apartment itself is fantastic: comfortable, modern, clean. WiFi works great. Bathroom is well equipped with washer and dryer. Kitchen is also well equipped. Highly recommend staying there.

Very nice little place. Parking is right in front so you can see your car from your window! The apartments are adorable and the bath is lovely! Had a nice time- also very much walkable distance to the city!!

Enjoyed a lovely long weekend here. The space is very peaceful and the appartement had everything we needed. Tom and Pam were very kind and helpful! Their garden is beautiful and well cared for. We really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated their hospitality.

We live in Brisbane and visited Hobart for a holiday. We are grateful to Rose and Brian for sharing their home, a comfortable apartment, with us. They are so thoughtful, helpful and supportive. The apartment is quiet, clean, with all the essentials and the environment is safe. We want to thank them for the food left in the pantry for us to settle in. Jodi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, meeting us at the start of our stay and even providing some chocolates and the food we needed most to get started. The apartment was really accessible for my older Mum being on the ground floor and had everything we needed and more for our stay in Hobart! We highly recommend Jodi's place for those wanting a spot that's a little out of the CBD but close enough to the places we all want to see Thanks for a great experience Jodi!

Second time I’ve stayed at Arthurton central and loved it. Beautifully luxurious in all inclusions and amenities. Well appointed kitchen and large, comfortable bedrooms. Easy walk to Salamanca and battery point. A wonderful property and very communicative and helpful host.

Gorgeous beach apartment right on the beach. Great cafes, restaurants and pub nearby and we really enjoyed our swim at Kingston Beach and neighbouring Boronia Beach.

this a the second time renting Fiona's apartment. Very clean and modern and well equipped. within walking distance to city.

we had a comfortable stay at Jacquie's place. Perfect location for exploring the city—walking distance to restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in.

Andrews place is in a fantastic location and is super clean with everything you need to make dinner. Definitely recommend!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Hobart. One of the major reasons was the place we stayed. First of all, the room was very clean and well decorated. Next, there were many available items and kitchenware. Also, there was a fireplace that came surprisingly handy when we got to roast marshmallows. The location is very close to many famous places in Hobart and the hosts were very friendly and recommended a local restaurant to us. The only problem was the steep and narrow driveway. But overall it was a very nice place to stay.
