Our stay at the Lakehouse was perfect for our family vacation. The space is absolutely beautiful-with plenty of space to stretch out, room for kids to play, and tons of activities and games to do. We enjoyed the dock access making boating a breeze and the kids loved the pool. I would stay here again! The house is extremely luxurious but was also quite “lived in” feeling, which always makes you feel comfortable when bringing kids around! Host was helpful and very responsive. We loved our vacation!

We take a family trip for our Anniversary weekend every year. This year we chose "glamping" because we wanted to get away from our electronic lives for a few days, but we didn't want to actually "camp" either and miss amenities like running water and climate control. This little gem provided us with everything we needed without cheating us out of the camping experience. The resort itself offers a lot to do as well, but our best times were outside the camper, sitting around the fire, roasting our dinners on skewers and eating it hot off the fire and then toasting marshmallows for dessert, all while having a great time talking and laughing. We 100% recommend the Orange Lake Gator Get Away for its fun, relaxing environment and a very reasonable price that wont break the bank.

Huge place, very comfortable, outside space was wonderful. Sitting on the deck listening to the birds was great. Neighbors were very friendly and it was nice to walk around the lake nearly every day. It is exactly as described. This is their camp so it’s not fancy and some of the floors are a bit uneven or saggy. But it was very livable and a nice place to stay. Victoria was very responsive any time we messaged her. Would definitely recommend.

Area is very rural so not much selection on restaurants. We are gator alumni so didn’t mind the trek to Gainesville to enjoy a variety restaurant options. Highly recommend if wanting to disconnect from city life,

Nice clean space for our quick weekend getaway. Bhishma provided clear instructions to help us arrive. We kept in touch letting him know we would be late arriving. He made sure the lights were on and the outside was nicely lit to provide Easy access to get in. Tidy and lovely space to relax, comfy beds made for a great night sleep. We drove through the small towns, enjoyed our time roaming through the quaint antique shops then to Gainesville for a little shopping and supper. Thanks Bhishma for a wonderful place to stay.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location to be close to downtown High Springs and is a straight shot to all of the springs (Poe, Gilchrist and Ginnie) we wanted to visit. Being right on the river was so relaxing, and we had so much fun playing ping pong, cornhole and darts with our teenagers. We built a fire with wood purchased right off the main road and made s'mores too. The house was very well-appointed and we appreciated having plenty of towels, kitchen items (including spices and other essentials we usually have to bring or buy). The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked great, which I always appreciate. Will absolutely stay again!
