Pennard Hill Farm is a family farm with breathtaking views over the Mendip Hills. Our holiday cottages are very individual and have bags of character and charm. The Haybarn is a beautiful barn conversation next to the indoor heated swimming pool, across the courtyard from the main farm house. There is plenty to see and do nearby such as Longleat Safari Park, Hauser & Worth Art Gallery, exploring the local towns of Wells, Frome and Glastonbury and enjoying long walks right on the doorstep.

Chalet with beautiful views on slopes of Tor

We had an absolutely incredible time at the chalet. It’s perfectly located inside a beautiful garden where you wake up to the sound of wildlife and peaceful running water. I feel truly rested, body and soul from staying there! The location is fantastic, right on the slope of Glastonbury tor, making it perfect for watching the sunset on the tor and then wandering back for a cozy evening. The chalet interior is very comfortable and well appointed and makes a really good use of the small space. Incredible views over the Somerset levels and a gorgeous outside area with cute wooden day bed right outside the door and seating area below. Pia was a very responsive host; proactive with sending detailed instructions on how to find and access the property, checked in over messages on the first morning to make sure everything was ok, and was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again, no hesitation! A 10/10 property on all fronts for us!

Olivia’s house is lovely - plenty of space for everyone and great amenities (games room, TVs, speakers, hot tube etc.). Olivia lives in the house next door and was wonderful, always checking that everything was okay and helping when our fob broke. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful few days away, Catherine was very helpful with information and even baked us a lovely cake! We had a fun time using the pool and the tennis court. The property is very peaceful and it was a perfect location for a relaxing few days away. We would love to come back in the future.

This place really exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was exactly as described but the shared facilities made this stay extra special - the swings, skittle alley, play room, swimming pool and bar where absolutely fabulous and our kids were kept very well entertained (as were we). They really enjoyed helping feed the animals. We had so much fun on our last night, joining in with family bingo. Mark was warm, welcoming and this place is such a gem - the kids did not want to leave.

The cottage is even more beautiful in person. It was perfectly cosy yet gorgeous inside making you feel relaxed straight away. The surroundings are stunning, with country views. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our friends 50th. We got an uber into bath town for an evening out which was super easy, around £15 and only 10-15 mins away. Thank you Lisa, we are definitely planning on coming back.
