Ver yresponsive host with fabulous amenities. Her instructions were clear about finding the house and what to do once there. She went above and beyond her normal service to support my elderly father. Great balance of being on hand to help and leavin gus to do our own thing. Recommended!

Room in Rhondda Cynon Taf with a WOW view

RichardRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I booked Number 13 as a base to do some hiking in the upper Rhondda valleys and further afield. Carol's brother Mark runs No. 13 with help from Chippy, a 15 yo smooth Fox Terrier. Mark is a very congenial host and great company and conversationalist. No. 13 is located very close to frequent bus routes and walking distance of Treherbert railway station. Also close to the Rhigos end of the A4061, which runs through Treherbert and Triorcy. There are shops, food outlets and a couple of pubs nearby and more in Triorcy, a larger town. The guest bedroom is at the front of the former miners' house, in a very quiet residential street. On sunny days I was treated to the early morning sunshine draping over the trees on the mountainside towards Blaencwm, a side valley to the main Rhondda Fawr valley. This part of south Wales is stunningly beautiful and made for adventurous hiking holidays. Pen Pych, a local beauty spot with panoramic views and waterfalls is literally on the doorstep. Will be back

Cut the Commute: Stay in Taffs Well

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I needed to a place to stay in easy public transport reach of Cardiff and not too far from Canada Lakes where my daughter was staying. Nicholas' place fitted the bill perfectly, and as a host he was most hospitable and helpful. If I stayed again I'd make a point of bringing a bike or allowing time to walk the Taff Trail which goes from Taff's Well into Cardiff, and out towards Brecon (unfortunately current mobility issues meant I wasn't able to explore as much I'd wish). Over-all a great visit though - thanks so much Nicholas!

Staying at Jan and Tony's was perfect. We came down to Cardiff to watch the rugby. They were so welcoming and friendly that we felt at home right straight away. They shared lots of local knowledge which made it easier to make the most out of visit to Cardiff. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Coynant Farm Guest House, En-suite. Gower, Swansea

lovely location, great for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, everything you needed in the room , just a few little tweeks bedding was extremely creased, and rubbish items left in bin, location was a little difficult to find in the dark, as the same postcode covers a large area , did contact host for help in finding the place, but didn't get back to me, arrived 30 mins later, overall a great stay and would book again.

Central Swansea Double Room & Private Shower-room

Dr. MartinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Leonie and Manoah are AirBnB hosts of the old school. It is people like them who keep me on this platform. I had a relaxing time at their place, which almost felt like home to me. Leonie and Manoah are very kind and care a lot for the well-being of their guests. Honestly, the two alone are worth a visit to Swansea. Thank you for that!

Taff Trail Tranquility, Twin Rm Nr Bike Park Wales

JudiRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Trina’s place was easy to find and very clean. The bed was really comfortable. I would have liked a mirror in the bathroom though and breakfast wasn’t included because of the host’s availability- there was no discount for this. I was told about this beforehand. But Trina really helped me out at very short notice, responding to my questions quickly. The location was perfect for my needs. I would definitely return.
