Had a great stay, place was very clean and well equipped, hosts were very helpful.

Stopped for the night on the way from London to Scotland to break up the drive, the room was just what we needed and was very quiet, the private entrance and really easy and flexible check in was perfect for us. The room itself had everything you would need for a night and was so clean.

Rachel’s place was comfy, well stocked and equipped, we were grateful for the milk left for us as we arrived late, the house had everything we needed, it is close to local bus routes, about 20minutes walk to the local Arnison shopping centre or a nice walk along a tarmac track to Durham centre which is about a mile. Rachel communicated well and was very accommodating.

I cannot say enough good things about this apartment. It's really, really lovely. Homey, comfortable, private, clean, airy, warm, well-equipped, and recently renovated. My partner and I stayed for a month and were sad to leave! The area is not the most scenic part of Durham, but it is well connected to the centre by public transport (or bike!) and there are lots of supermarkets close by. Once you're in the apartment you don't notice the road as the main room faces towards the gardens and views to the back of the property. Katharine and Richard are both lovely, very friendly, incredibly helpful, and easy to reach, and they really went above and beyond to accommodate us. We felt very lucky to have found this place! Katharine cleaned the apartment once a week and changed the bedding and towels, which was incredible. If you are thinking about booking this place, go for it! We certainly hope to return!
