Fantastic apartment nestled next to a river in Backbarrow. Absolutely stunning views and the apartment is modern and clean and really well appointed. Lovely beds, comfy living space. Short drive to just about everything, lakes, dining, attractions. Host gave the best set of instructions I’ve ever had, was helpful and flexible to help make our stay special. Really loved the whole experience and will definitely return, as the apartment was amazing.

We enjoyed our short stay and found the location good for taking trip to the lakes.

Tranquil setting, lovely apartment and a great base to explore the area from on foot, bike and quick drive to lots of amazing hikes.

We have enjoyed our weekend away. Graham was very pleasant. He left in the fridge milk, bottle of wine and beer, he also proved tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits 😋 we would definitely stay there again 😊

The Accommodation was very well appointed and had beautiful views as described. Everything for a comfortable stay was provided and local amenities were within easy walking distance. Our group all thought it was excellent value for money and we thoroughly enjoyer our stay there.

Absolutely loved my stay. It had everything I needed and was pristine clean when I arrived. The location is good only a short walk in the centre of Kendal and lots of nice walks almost outside the front door. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay in this apartment! The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. So close to everything in Keswick, just a quick walk to shops, restaurants and the lake! It was the perfect place for our weekend away. Will definitely book again in the future!

We spent a couple of nights to explore the area around Grasmere in mid-November. It was a perfect base and felt cozy to return to after a day out. The ability to walk to local pubs and also get into the countryside from here was a real bonus.

Great apartment - spotless with absolutely everything you would need or want and Scott was brilliant to deal with, bed was more comfortable than mine at home! Highly recommend and would definitely be back

The flat was perfect for us. We are a group of 4 ladies and used all 3 bedrooms. Having 2 bathrooms is always a bonus. There were toiletries in the bathroom and things like milk, tea and coffee which was a lovely touch. The extra special addition was the lovely bottle of red wine. Thank you for having us.

We really enjoyed staying at Paul's AirBnB. It was a great location to explore the Lake District from, parking was super easy, and the location was extremely walkable to local pubs and restaurants in central Bowness. Paul was a very responsive host, answering any questions we had promptly, and was also extremely flexible as we did not have a clear sense of when we would be arriving for check-in until several hours prior.

My family and I stayed at Swallows Loft for four nights. The condo is located in beautiful surroundings of the English lakes district countryside. Is within easy reach of other villages and towns in the Lake District. Accommodation is cosy clean and I felt right at home it had all the little things to make me feel very at ease. Louise a wonderful host and went out of her way to ensure that myself and my family had a wonderful stay at her accommodation, I would highly recommend this accommodation for others for the perfect trip to the lake district whether it be for work, romance or exploring.

Amazing stay - home was spotless and everything you wanted and needed was there. The booklet with guidence on accommodation and what’s around went above and beyond with every detail covered. Beds was so Comfy with pillows soft and luxurious feel. Kitchen had all that you needed including a cool coffee machine. Can’t give anything other than 5 stars and will I’m sure return on next visits to the gorgeous Lake District

We had a wonderful week in the beautiful apartment. Beautiful historic building containing several apartments. Unfortunately there is no WiFi.

Outstanding apartment which was immaculately clean. The amenities were fantastic. Location was beautiful and quiet but only a few minutes drive to the town, which had shops and restaurants on the lake. The hosts were amazing with their communication. Our stay was so enjoyable we didn't want to go home. Would definitely recommend.

A wonderful few nights in Windermere. 1. Apartment couldn’t be any more central which was perfect for access to shops / restaurants and bars. 2. Modern kitchen & Bathroom 3. Luxury apartment with a view to match, overlooking Ambleside pier, the lake and mountains. Exquisite! Full use kitchen. Chaisse overlooking the lake is the perfect spot! Comfortable seating in front of large screen TV. Can't wait to come back!

We had the best time staying here! The apartment was beautiful and so clean and peaceful. It was just a short walk into the town and there was loads to do. The view from the apartment was stunning and so lovely withball the christmas lights around. We will definitely be staying here again!

A fantastic apartment; beautifully decorated and with lovely furnishings. The beds were very comfortable and having a super king bed was a real treat! The bathroom is beautiful with excellent toiletries that felt very luxurious. A lot of care has clearly gone into the design, decor and appliances at the apartment. Ideal location with easy access to lots of places and Craig is a very helpful host. A wonderful weekend that felt special - thank you!
