What a beautiful place to escape to. Very relaxing and comfortable. Immediately felt at home. The outdoor seating areas are particularly charming, with the sauna and ice bath. But also steps nearby at the old mill directly into the sea. Being able to wake up and lay in bed looking at the sea was an added treat!! Lovely town to walk into with some good restaurants and a great little convenience store that was amazingly well stocked. Nigel was very responsive and informative.

A really well located little house. Small but enough room for our little family. Excellent location for the ferry and Yarmouth. Parking is a pain but the local carpark is not far and there is so much to do on the Island you could easily be out for the day or not bring the car. There were a few niggles with the house but Bree communicated really well and was super helpful. It had everything you could need to be self-sufficient for a few days stay. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best places I’ve stayed at. The space was curated very tastefully. Pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of the nature around. The host was very kind and thoughtful. Thanks Alison and Chris for an amazing stay!

The Bird Hide was a delightful place for a stay in West Wight. It is secluded, with its own small garden, but close to the shops in Freshwater and the sea in Freshwater Bay. Its one-room layout is simple and stylish. We can't fault it.
