We so enjoyed our stay at Silvia's cozy home in Sydney Mines. The house was impeccably clean and clutter free - allowing space for all our belongings. The decor was truly lovely. The house felt very spacious with many different spaces to spend time indoors. The house was truly charming! The backyard felt so private with lovely flowers and a shaded deck with seating. The house was easy to find and had an easy to access driveway. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the house - the kitchen had everything you would want. The entry room with all the hooks and places for shoes was fantastic. I really appreciated all the local information - bird books, beach guides, maps, etc. There was great communication with Silvia. The house was convenient for traveling to museums, historic sites, beaches, and seeing puffins on the Bird Island Boat Tour. We had a wonderful time staying in Silvia's house - she was a fantastic host!

We had an amazing stay at Sheila’s home. Cannot recommend it enough, especially for a family getaway. Convenient location, amazing amenities, picturesque landscape, and amazing communication with the host. We will be back again.

This voyage was perfect for our little get away and was even dog friendly! We stayed in the Forest Cottage and it has everything we could have possibly needed. It was clean and tidy and close to Baddeck if you forget anything or want to shop.

The space was exactly as described. Spotless, cozy, and plenty of space for our party of 5. The kitchen was well equipped, the furniture was comfortable and it was a perfect spot to spend Thanksgiving weekend. The Cabot Trail was super close and very accessible. The bakery down the road has some amazing sweets to take back to the cottage to enjoy after dinner!
