Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Boone

We were not able to stay at this Air B and B due to the severe weather. So, the five-star rating is limited. However, I can say the host was very good in contacting us prior to the stay, including with phone calls; was very gracious and understanding of our situation; and promptly refunded what we paid for the reservation when we were unable to make it to the Air B and B. Although we were not able to stay, under the circumstances, this was another good Air B and B experience.

This rental worked out great for our family to stay while in town for a wedding. Flexible arrival time was appreciated! Everything was clean, well equipped, and as described. Would recommend and stay again if ever back in the area!

June was a fantastic host and the place was just as she described! I was there with my mom and we enjoyed watching tv in the living room, having long chats over breakfast in the kitchen, and it was the perfect location for everything we were doing in Hickory (easy to get downtown!). I'd highly recommend her place! June was also very communicative and responsive, what a fantastic experience all around!

This is in a very peaceful location. The goats that are on the property are fun to watch and some are friendly enough to greet you when you arrive. The cabin is very well stocked with everything that you would need. It has a very cozy feeling to it. Brooke and Brian are excellent hosts. They are friendly and very responsive to any questions that you may have. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone that wants a private small farm experience. It is also within a short driving distance to great restaurants and shopping centers. I hope to return in the future.

This was our 2nd time at David’s place and it was just how we remembered it. Lovely spot and easy access for our day trips to Tweetsie’s and Land of Oz! Beautiful and spacious home on Beech Mountain.

We stayed at The Green Nest for just one night while visiting our daughter at college. The location was very convenient and was just what we needed. Catherine was very responsive and was able to allow us to check in a bit early. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits.

The apartment was very comfortable and worked for our needs. It’s my husband’s hometown and was close to the people we weee visiting. Cheryl was always helpful if we needed anything.

We loved our stay. Right in downtown, but still quiet. Lots of stuff within walking distance. We had a small problem with the water heater when we got there, but Virginia was very helpful and got it fixed very quickly. We will definitely be staying again.

our stay was amazing, the house was more than we expected beautiful surroundings in a quiet residential area but still easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Felt very at home. Jaime had great communication and was very accommodating. loved our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed all of the personal touches, from the decor, to the cleanliness, to the detailed notes to guide us through the ins and outs of the condo. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided such as zip lock bags, coffee/tea, extra pillows/linens, etc. The resort itself was lovely, not to mention the proximity to Blowing Rock. Nicole was very responsive and filled us with a lot of confidence as her guests.

Great location! Seemed like it had the biggest balcony in the entire complex. We were in town for a wedding and would definitely return in future! If it’s the summertime then definitely open up all the windows to get the mountain breezes blowing

great place to stay. super close to the ski resort and nice restaurants near by. Upper and down floors are good to keep privacy if you travel with a big family. cozy view from the dining table. My recommendation is to bring a jar of body cream/lotion. Your skin will feel super dry in the a/c during winter season.

Traveling with pets always leaves a big question mark in cleanliness, we have two mini schnauzer’s under 18lbs non shedding hypoallergenic so normally we are challenged to find a place to our “pet friendly “ standards. Fabienne’s condition was truly a breath of fresh air, so clean and well kept. Will absolutely return, also very walkable to snow slopes!!!

We were so pleased with our stay here. It was much better than expected, and we found ourselves dreaming of when we can return. For being a condo, it felt so spacious for our family of 5, and each of us had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The living area had plentiful seating, and all of the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, which made eating in very enjoyable. We were also delightfully surprised that this is located directly by a small park with tennis courts, a basketball court, and small playground. It should be noted that the park provided tennis rackets and basketballs for my kids to play! Perfect! We also loved that Otter Falls trail was only a couple of minutes away. Such a perfect trip.
