Very quiet & safe neighborhood, beautiful surroundings (part of a gated country club development). Adequate parking, easy to find, quick drive (15-20 minutes) to Bloomington. Slept 6 easily, but a little tight for 6 to hang out. We did all 6 play cards at the dining room table.

Had a fun weekend here with friends. The location is close enough to gas stations and other places to quickly grab whatever you might need, but still feels remote. Lots of space on the property but unfortunately due to heavy rain we couldn't use it to its full potential. Would recommend if you're looking to enjoy nature while still being close to Bloomington (about 15 minutes from campus.)

I had a great stay at Treetop Retreat! Corinne was very responsive and helpful when I had a slight problem with the WiFi. I will say that the neighborhood is confusing to navigate, especially if you’re arriving at night. This isn’t the fault of the host—it’s just part of the “charm” of the Pointe! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this property or another hosted by Corinne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Hudson Hideaway. Views were amazing and neighborhood was quiet and serene. Shirley was super responsive and helpful and her home was spotless. She really made us feel welcome and even left us a snack basket and several beverages which was a very welcome gift after our long drive. She certainly knows how to make a house a home. We look forward to returning to this community in the future.

Convenient location to visit IU for the weekend. Check in was easy and Colleen let me know that the place was ready early if we wanted. The 2 baths were helpful for us and expedited the ability for 2 couples to get ready in the morning. The complimentary bottle of wine was nice. We rested well in the comfy beds. We had what we needed! Colleen was good with communication.

Charming Lake Monroe 2/2 Condo Golf IU Bloomington

We just returned from wonderful stay at Cameron's Lake Monroe condo. It was a beautiful, golf course location. A family of very tame deer visited us twice a day most days. Cameron's instructions and suggestions were perfect. He checked with us frequently to see if we needed anything. The condo was beautiful and was well-stocked with everything we needed, complete with a delicious "welcome" bottle of Oliver Winery wine. We loved taking long walks around the Eagle Pointe community, eating at fabulous restaurants and enjoying all Bloomington and IU have to offer. Thank you for hosting us, Cameron. We had a great time. Stunning Modern Cabin Retreat with Expansive Deck

We had a great stay at the a-frame!! It was a perfect spot for a fall getaway. There were 3 families that stayed, 12 total. There was ample place for all. Each family had a home base bedroom and a few of the kids slept on couches/an air mattress. I really enjoyed having all the benefits of a campground, but also having a comfortable, nice place to relax and shower, etc. We stayed 2 days, but there is so much to do in the area that we could have used another one! The kids loved the park, and the pop a shot basketball hoop, we all loved playing volleyball and pickle-ball. We explored the IU campus and went to brown county for a hike. I would definitely recommend checking out Hard Truth for dinner. Was a very cool place! The hosts were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. It was an exceptionally nice campground. Walked to Lake Monroe one morning and caught a few fish! Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Getaway! A Hidden Gem! The location is fantastic – tucked away from the road, making it incredibly quiet and serene. It feels wonderfully peaceful, backing right up to beautiful woods with a running creek you can hear, and views towards a finger of Monroe Lake. Spending time on the back decks (there is a back deck for each level of the place) enjoying the fresh air really feels like being in a peaceful tree house, away from the world – perfect for morning coffee listening to the birds! Even on a cooler morning, the gas fire pit on the deck made it cozy and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we felt that amazing "welcome home" vibe – the thoughtful welcome note and cookies were such a lovely touch! You can tell a lot of thought went into making guests feel welcome, with details like super soft blankets rolled up by the couches. Inside, the place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We loved that it was well-stocked with essentials in the kitchen and the nicely.

This was a great spot for our small family. We were in town for a fishing tournament on Lake Monroe, so the location was convenient. The cabin smelled nice, and had just what we needed for our short stay. The campground itself was truly a resort, with a ton of activity spaces. Everything felt very safe. The air conditioned kept the cabin very cool, and we roasted marshmallows at the fire pit in the evening.

Tom and Robert were the best hosts—so friendly, polite, and welcoming! They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from allowing a flexible check-in and check-out to ensuring we had everything we needed. The property itself was stunning, with a beautiful setup that made for a perfect getaway. The hot tub was an absolute highlight—so relaxing and exactly what we needed. We were especially grateful that we were able to have fun without any issues, and they were so accommodating throughout our stay. To top it all off, their dog is absolutely adorable! It was perfect for us just in Bloomington for the IU game. The only issue we had was we found the lock hard to deal with & the numbers on the lock don’t light up once you hit the first button. Hard to see @ night. Rachel came over & helped us with the lock

They were sweet from the time we started communicating until the end. We were traveling so she gave us the opportunity to check in an hour earlier for free. Kids loved all the activities in close proximity. State park with beach and restaurant few miles away. Close to local town with stores. We enjoyed our stay we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Kathy’s place. It was very clean, organized, cozy, and nicely decorated. The view off the screened porch is beautiful-especially in the fall. Kathy was responsive and flexible. We were visiting for an IU football game weekend so we didn’t get to spend as much time relaxing and enjoying it as we would have liked. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area!
