Monthly Rentals in Bland Bay

three nights stayed as a couple, great beach location, cleanest we have stayed in after 6 weeks and looks like the pictures. lovely safe bay for swimming and near to town.

To say that the view is impressive is an understatement. The moment you open the front door, the view over the Bay is what makes this an incredible spot to stay. The bean bags, sofas, daybed (my particular favourite for a read) picnic benches on the deck or just reclining in bed, all afford you this fabulous view. It changed every half hour or so, as you're at the centre of a natural amphitheatre you do hear all sorts of sounds from the Tui's, Bellbirds, Kiwis and cicadas, it's constant and glorious. And yes you can hear as cars go by from the ferry, but to even mention that is churlish. As we sat soaking in the view one night the sound of an anchor chain going down was quite distinct and then the puttering of an engine on a boat over half a kilometre away confirmed all was well with the world. It's just a lovely base for popping to Russell and the ferry over to Opua is regular and opens up the rest of the Bay of Islands to you.

Amazing place, arguably better than the pictures describe it! Every little details feel right, and has been thought through. Peaceful and great for resourcing, definitely a place where you want to spend a lot of time resting, thinking and dreaming! I wish we would have stayed longer :)
