Family-friendly vacation rentals in Blackburn

We had a wonderful stay here, was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The flat has everything you will need including some snacks and fresh eggs. The hot tub was great! Susan was quick to reply and very helpful and friendly. We didn't have a car but it's easy to walk into the village where there is a lovely pub, fish and chips (cash only) and co-op. Speaking of walking, it is right next to a great trail along a sea wall looking over the salt marshes seeing birds and to my shock Blackpool. We had a great time and will hopefully be back again.

Thank you to our fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The accommodation and surroundings were well kept and thought out. We had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The wood fired hot tub and sauna really was the icing on the cake for our holistic retreat. Highly recommended - we will return :)

Wow !!!! I work in a busy city office and my weekends are precious. Sharon was very responsive when I messaged and gave clear helpful directions. From the second we crossed the duel carriage way it was like being transported to another world. It was secluded and very peaceful. The place itself was spotless and warm and inviting. It really was a home from home. It was comfortable in fact so comfortable we didn’t get to the hot tub until the following morning. Highly recommend this secret place. Lovely hosts explained everything to us. Loved it. Thank you

Loved staying here, great for kids and my two daughters particularly loved the animals, especially the cats! Emma was a great host and I would recommend ordering the hamper - was amazing. The cottage was clean and cosy and the views out of the window were incredible

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Was very clean, refurbished and all facilities were high quality. Great interactive panel for music, lighting, and controls for the facilities. Great extension for darts and hot tub and very suited for large groups to socialise. Bedroom were perfect, comfy beds and hot showers. Really nice place for large groups. Very pleased with our stay.

A fantastic cabin in a wonderful location. Everything we needed for a perfect weekend away. We will be back!

Had a lovely New Years holiday with family (and dogs) and it did feel like a holiday. Hosts were very attentive (with hot tub, and asking about wi-fi) yet I think made sure to let us feel comfortable and give us our privacy. A 15 minute walk to shop, or 2 minute drive - we also visited Blackpool (30 minute drive). Clean beds, lovely living room and can't fault value for money, and would recommend. Thanks for having us!!

The stay at the farm in the barn house was beautiful. Me and my fiancé took our 3 dogs and it could not have been anymore perfect. The barn was rustic with character and very cosy by the log burner fire. The scenery and views are stunning, especially in the hot tub. The hot tub BBQ area was enclosed which was ideal, we could let our poochies run around whilst we relaxed in the tub. Richard was incredibly welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. He shown us around his farm and we got to meet his cows. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night! 100% worth the money and will definitely be returning in the future. carol was lovely and very welcoming. she left us a welcome parcel with bread.. milk.. biscuits and cereal. all cleaning items available in a cupboard. loo rolls.. shampoo.. and soap in the bathroom. fresh bedding on the bed.. and it was lovely and warm for our arrival. our puppy loved the enclosed garden and the jar of treats left on the side for her. we will definitely be returning later in the year. Loverly annex very clean and tidy. Quiet location big garden with great views. Bed very comfy kitchen stocked with cereals bread milk butter and jam and teas and coffees. Near to clitheroe skipton and knaresbrough where we spent days out. Emmott Arms 6 minutes away highly recommended great food. Will definitely be going back to the annex thank you Molly Xxx

We’re just back from our stay here and it was a great base for us visiting family nearby. My elderly mam was with me and we really benefited from everything on one floor for my mam and her mobility. We’ll definitely return.

We spent three wonderful days at Ann’s place while visiting family in the area and found the accommodation wanting for nothing. We found ourselves very relaxed in the conservatory watching the world go by outside. Parking is easy and generous with a pub/restaurant within walking distance. Can’t recommend Ann’s place highly enough!

Beautiful little cottage, we sat relaxing on the sofa and watched three deer on the land behind. Felt really peaceful and had everything we needed

Fantastic Air B&B, location is brilliant. A lovely restaurant across the road. The accommodation was clean, with everything we needed during our stay. Holly was a perfect host and communicated well. Definitely recommend and will be staying again when in the area.

Friendly and informative hosts without being intrusive. Cosy annexe with well appointed kitchen, comfy bed and everything needed for a pleasant stay. Easy commute to Preston and good pub just down the road. Nothing not to like.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

Lovely, characterful place to stay. Great sense of privacy, surrounded by countryside. Once the log burner gets going it's really cosy and the accommodation is really well thought out. Appreciated John being on hand to answer questions and to be so welcoming and helpful whilst also respecting our privacy. Highly recommended.

Visited Lower Gill Farmhouse as part of my mum's 70th Birthday celebrations. 12 of us ranging in age from 5 to 75! All rooms were a great size, was excellent having 3 en-suite rooms along with a very large main bathroom and a downstairs toilet. The Kitchen was lovely, everything we needed and more - might have been nice to have tea/coffee and a little milk left for when we arrived after a long drive but luckily our tesco delivery arrived early so this wasn't too much of a problem. The living room had 3 good size sofas so we could all relax in front of the log burner. We made full use of the pool, games room, football pitch and tennis courts - a great addition especially for the kids and 4 hours allocation each day was perfect. Our dogs had a ball too - lots of places for them to run and play. Even in January we managed to spend lots of time outside and the little stream at the back of the cottaqe was wonderful. Great response from our host too, even though she was on holiday herself.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing area. we walked most days and did bot require the car all that much. we walkedto 4 local villages...visiting The Ablingdon Arms at Beckley on a few occasions. Our doggo was super happy in the cottage as were we! Cosy nights watching TV in the living room to big breakfasts around the dining table...and yhe odd midday nap. There has been alot of thought put into this place by the owners and it shows!
