Excellent stay at Viva!! We decided to stay on a local island vs a high touristy traffic island and we are so glad we did. This island and hotel are the real deal. We were greeted upon arrival via speed boat. The staff at Viva greeted us and helped acclimate us to the Maldives. Viva is super clean, well maintained and the staff really makes you feel like you’re a part of their family. They arranged any excursions we wanted to do and a staff member was present on the excursions with us. They all went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember. Picnic island is a must as well as snorkeling. Can’t wait until we come back to visit.

Mohamed was an incredible host, very helpful and extremely accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay! We got to go out on the boat multiple days and although whale sharks did not want to be found I appreciated all the effort that was put into it! We did see massive manta rays which was such a cool experience. The host and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time, food was wonderful! (There are no restaurants on the island but you really don’t need them, the food at the airbnb will be hard to beat) It is a tiny island, I did zero research before showing up so I was surprised but everyone was welcoming and friendly! Maldives is an Islamic country so having longer shorts or loose fitting pants is a good idea but there is a bikini beach and I never felt out of place. Next time I will plan better clothing so it is more respectful, just want others to be aware of that (mostly applies to stays in Male). The AC works well and the rooms are clean and house is well taken care of! Next time we visit we will stay here again!
