Vacation rentals in Faafu Atoll

Yaamin is the absolute best host. He personally got us from the airport when we arrived and helped made the transfers so seamless. We were welcomed like royalty and given an orientation of the facility and activities. I went snorkeling for the first time but couldn’t stop and thereafter went each day the weather permitted, because the dive team were excellent and highly professional. The value for money at this hotel is soooo high and I enjoyed the food too! Thank you so much !!!

Haleem and Shifa run a wonderful guesthouse!! The bed was comfy, the bathroom clean, and the meals delicious. Shifa’s chapatis are the best! Haleem is an experienced skipper with heaps of local knowledge and he’s keen for anyone to get the most out of their stay - whether it’s whale shark spotting or going to a coral reef drop off to find turtles and reef sharks. They’ll both do what they can to help you with anything you need. They were absolute superstars when we had a logistical hurdle on our departure day. As for Fenfushi - it’s a quiet little island with a friendly community going about their lives, and it’s nice to be able to walk around the island and interact rather than just having a sterile Maldives resort experience. I think anyone visiting someone else’s country shouldn’t pretend that it’s just there for the tourists; there are people who call it home.

Beautiful island, we had a good time and would love to come back. The value is good, friendly staff and quick to respond. 7 double/triple rooms with private bathroom, it is the closest to the bikini beach, at the beginning of the island forest, quiet location but close to everything. Recently built in a modern style, a clean pool of discreet size, three-story building: on the ground floor, living room with TV sofas and dining table, 2 bedrooms of which a large one with direct access to the pool + kitchen, a cook prepares breakfast for you and on request can also give you lunch and dinner , on the second floor 4 rooms with different sized terraces, on the third floor 1 quiet room suitable for two people (for 3 people is small) + another room for eating+ large terrace with sofas and seating, on the third floor (roof) large solarium with beautiful views of the beach, beautiful at sunset. I recommend: bring repeaters for mosquitoes like tropical autan type.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Food was high level. We felt very welcome, especially with our 3 year old son who can be busy again. As a point for improvement, we would advise wider dining times for all meals. Also, the explanation about the activity board could have been handled upon arrival. Now, after a few days, we didn't find out how this was going to work. All in all small areas for improvement for a great hotel with a super crew. We would definitely recommend this location to others, both couples and families with children. The double room was lovely and recommended when traveling with children. Excursion snorkeling with Manta's is highly recommended, even for less experienced snorkelers.

It was a pleasure to be on vacation at MIT’s house. Good house and environment. I will recommend it for families! Manager is very reactive and communication was easy.
