This house is truly something special. The perfect blend of countryside retreat with modern aspects. Everything has been thought of and the beds were very comfortable. The local town is only a 7 minute drive which has everything you could need. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect relaxing getaway. Make sure you explore the gardens.

Condo in Old Town
4.79 out of 5 average rating, 246 reviewsRoyal Mile 4 Bed Luxury (incl Sauna & Jacuzzi)
Loved our time in Edinburgh. Accommodation is lovely. A more central location would be hard to find. Michelle was a superstar and responded so quickly to any of our queries Everything was as described, rooms were clean and comfortable and the facilities were great. Hi, loved our time in Edinburgh. Accommodation is lovely. Michelle was a superstar. A few pointers for future visitors⌠detailed instructions on how to use the jacuzzi and the sauna would be really helpful as we couldnât use either despite getting information from Michelle. Info regarding recycling would also be useful. We were made very aware of the âno partyâ policy thanks to your emails, messages via Airbnb, the posters etc, however we had to put up with a lot of noise from the surrounding apartments and environs, which is a bit of an oxymoron. We would definitely return and would recommend especially if our points are addressed The only downside (if it is a downside) We were made very aware of the âno partyâ
Cottage in Burntisland

Beyond impressed with how friendly and welcoming Ali was to our family of three. She made sure we stayed warm and comfortable the entire time. The cottage itâs cozy, adorable, and on beautiful grounds with amazing views! Both surround villages were cute and easy to navigate. Perfect stay before we headed into Edinburgh for the 2nd half of our Scotland holiday!
Home in Amble
4.87 out of 5 average rating, 327 reviewsHope Terrace: Classic peaceful hot tub cottage
Great location: in the quieter residential part of Amble, but only a few minutes walk to pubs, shops and places to eat. The house had everything we needed and the hosts have done a great job of creating a home-from-home vibe. Plenty of space and the hot tub was ideal after long days of walking and exploring the area. And the welcome items from Chris and Georgie were very welcome!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sandysike Barn! Sharon was a wonderful hostâher communication was excellent from start to finish, and she was always happy to help with any questions or requests. Her warm and welcoming approach made our visit even more enjoyable. The barn itself was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was particularly well-equipped, which was a huge plus, as we opted to cook most of our meals. The hot tub was a highlight, offering the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding hills. The peaceful and picturesque surroundings made it feel like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Overall, we genuinely couldnât fault our stay at Sandysike Barn. Itâs clear that Sharon takes great pride in maintaining the property and ensuring her guests have the best possible experience.

Cottage in Boulmer
4.79 out of 5 average rating, 169 reviewsBeach Cottage
What a fabulous situation. We like to be close to the sea and you can't be closer than this cottage without being in the sea. Sophie's communication was first rate and the description of the cottage was perfect. We were really fortunate to be there when we experienced all the seasons in one week with the bonus of snow. lovely walks and bike rides along the coast to Craster and sight seeing in Alnmouth and Amble. (Being old we like to see the even older castle ruins, it makes us feel younger). Great crab sandwiches at the FBI (Fishing Boat Inn).As we normally go to the west coast it was a delightful introduction to the east coast and we were so taken that we will surely be back again. The cottage is a real gem. Well done Sophie and Jabin and thank you for having us.

A perfect stay with dad and my dog, so peaceful and comfortable - we embarrassed ourselves by locking ourselves out on the first night - Lowri and the pub staff did all they could to help us get back in! Hope to be back someday, couldn't have had a better few days đ thank you Lowri!
Cottage in Otterburn
5 out of 5 average rating, 124 reviewsThe Hemmel, Old Town Farm
Had an absolutely wonderful stay here in chilli November but we were lovely and warm courtesy of the glorious wood burner and cosy duvet. The property itself was perfectly clean and spacious and brilliantly located for both coast and inland adventures. Kate was an amazing hostess, getting back to us in no time at all if we had any queries and happy to share her local knowledge to help us find our way around. Our only regret is that we didnât take our dog. The secure garden would have been perfect for him and the boot room area the perfect place for wiping off muddy paws before he settled in front of the fire.

We really loved Joâs place, was a brilliant wee find. Very quirky and cool, ideally situated near the beach and local amenities. We found the locals to be very open and friendly (although that made us spend a small fortune at the local well stocked deli!) and enjoyed a late lunch at The Ship Inn. We would absolutely visit again.
Cottage in Amble
4.89 out of 5 average rating, 113 reviewsSeashell House (FREE Swim/Gym pass included)
The accommodation is lovely in a very nice area close to the harbour in Amble. Even though it is in a terrace it is so quiet that you would never know there are neighbours either side. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Everything you need for self catering is there. Jen left a very nice cake and scones. The area is amazing. If you like castles, stately homes and gardens this is the place for you.
Townhouse in Edinburgh
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 309 reviewsLarge Comfortable House
Great place to stay if visiting Edinburgh, close to city centre with easy access to public transport. If driving, plenty of parking with no issues. Ronnieâs place was lovely, a lot bigger than what the pictures show and has everything you need for your stay. Ronnie himself was very helpful and friendly, overall a great stay.

We had an amazing stay at Maryâs cottage. The Cottage was super cozy with everything and more that we needed. Lovely and clean with clear instructions and the best bit is the wood fire in the living room. Made the stay extra special. Great if you want lots of peace and quiet and a base to go exploring the surrounding area as we did. Highly recommended and will be staying again in the future.

Chalet in Haggerston
4.86 out of 5 average rating, 36 reviewsLakeside East Haggerston Castle Holiday
How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as weâd got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you
Cottage in Branton
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 104 reviewsHoneymug, Branton
We had such a relaxing time at honeymug, such a cosy place and the kids loved playing with the great variety of toys and enjoyed a variety of mini cereals and croissants left out by John, that was very kind, thanks! So many local walks, cafes, castles, coast and to top it off a hot tub and swimming pool. Very recommended, we'll hopefully be back.

I would highly recommend this apartment, very good location ten min walk from train station, easy access and met Audrey who went through everything with us. The apartment was very clean , there was milk, tea, coffee, bread , butter and marmalade which saved us going to the shop.

Norma was a lovely, responsive and friendly hist. I sent her quite a few questions about the cottage and the area and she responded quickly and with lots of suggestions. The cottage was home from home . We went up to Kielder a couple of days from here and explored the local area. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Fantastic caravan with gated outdoor space brilliant for my two big dogs. At the quiet end of the park yet really close to the shop and entertainment. Caravan was really clean and had lovely little homely touches when we arrived. Peter and Georgie replied really quickly if we had questions too.

Thanks for a wonderful stay in your hideaway Maggie. It exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was amazing. It felt like a home from home and all we needed was food and drinks. The fire was on and the hot tub was warm on our arrival. Any questions Maggie responded straight away. The kids loved it too. We will be back in the future.

4.92 out of 5 average rating, 66 reviewsTumbler Rocks Retreat - 150m from beach & hot tub.
Tumbler Rocks was just as described. Just a short stroll across the dunes to the beach and an easy walk into Seahouses town. The house was very well equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. We stayed as a family of eight with two dogs and found it had ample space for all of us. Dogs enjoyed their early morning walks along the sandy beach and with the outside hose, paws were easily washed down! Plenty of eating places in the town and as a Coeliac found an excellent chip shop, Italian restaurant and Indian restaurant who could all provide gluten free choices for both sitting in and take away. Anthea was very approachable and helpful in answering any questions we had prior to and during our visit. Thank you for the use of your house for our family break.
