The location and the accommodation was very beautiful and is only 20 minutes from the nearest town. Andrea was responsive to messages and accommodating. The farm had some animals which was really lovely. Such a cozy place and was very calm and quiet. But the price of the hot tub was a bit expensive for us.

A wonderful stay in the cottage! Perfectly dog friendly, excellent enclosed garden. Hot tub was ready for use and the log burner was beautiful. Jennie was easy to contact and very helpful when needed. Will definitely look to stay again, highly recommend!!

Everything about this place was perfect. Beautiful location & beautiful accomodation. Greeted on check in by Caroline, very friendly and helpful, showed us around the accomodation and were everything was. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and everything so well thought out. The beds were exceptionally comfy also. Location very lovely and peaceful. Gorgeous welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely gesture. Thank you for a lovely stay.

10000% would recommend anyone to stay here. I booked this as a suprise for my partners 30th. And we were both blown away. Firstly surrounding areas are breathtaking. The check in process was super ease. And the yurt, oh my how do I even begin to explain how perfect this was. My partner was so so happy with this suprise. The hot tub was an amazing end to the trip Thank you so much to Amy we will definitely return again in the future

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, including a delicious home-baked cake that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage itself is stunning, blending cozy charm with lovely decor and thoughtful touches throughout. The views are absolutely breathtaking—perfect for unwinding and taking in the scenery. The hot tub was an added luxury, allowing us to relax under the stars. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a personal touch.

We had a lovely week at Wood View, it felt like a home away from home which was surprising as often dog friendly places can seem uninviting. Karen was a fabulous host and couldn’t do more for us. We will be back!

Really lovely hosts, and lovely stay! The house was roomy, clean and cosy. We had plenty of space to put our belongings, and was a lovely place for a girly weekend. Despite the horrendous weather, the views were still lovely and we enjoyed our time. All the animals were super cute and friendly, we were gutted we couldn’t see the new baby calf be born! Thank you to Katie and Nathan for their hospitality, we cannot wait to come back again!

We had a great stay. Lovely house with well appointed kitchen. Fantastic summer house and hot tub. The location was perfect for long walks, bonus of some nice pubs on the way round!

Such a great air BnB! Spacious, homely rooms each with an ensuite. A great kitchen, in which we could comfortably cook our Christmas feast in the large rangemaster oven. Paul was really accommodating and it was really thoughtful to ask how we'd like the beds setting up in respect of double/twin setups.

Beautiful, quaint village. The flat was perfect for our trip. Fabulous breakfast at the cafe below and great dinner in the Barley Mowe pub! Couldn’t ask for more.

Fantastic find, a mile from Matlock but feels like you are deep into the countryside. So quiet and peaceful, the cottage was everything you could need, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Shower is a bit cramped if you are over 5ft 8ins though :-) Lovely enclosed garden ideal for the dogs and the views across the dale are stunning Would love to return one day, highly recommend a visit

What a beautiful, spacious, homely cottage. We couldn’t have been more comfortable in this stylish, warm hug of a property. Claire was friendly, responsive and welcoming, even putting up the Christmas tree early for us when I told her we were celebrating an early Christmas! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and despite the space being so open, tasteful decor meant the space was warm and cosy. We would definitely recommend and will try to come back ourselves. What a find!

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Beautiful cottage. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates and glasses. Quiet surroundings with a beautiful fireplace. Kim was an excellent host. Really enjoyed our stay.

We are a group of friends who meet up somewhere for a long weekend catch-up as we all live so far apart. 3 pairs of mums and daughters, and the rest made up of ladies ranging from 45 to 65! The Angel was perfect for us. really practical communal spaces and spacious twin/ family rooms. Well equipped and such a quirky building. Modern appliances in the Kitchen. Lived the pantry. plenty of room at the table. Good WIFI and great tv facilities. Fabulous time was had by all.

It was my first time using Airbnb, and Izzy set a standard that others will find hard to beat. The cottage beautiful was well situated and with Izzy’s list of recommendation we had a great time. I’d definitely look to come back!

Really lovely place to stay quiet with amazing views! Not far from Ashbourne town centre where you can get all your essentials we really enjoyed using the swimming pool as well that was a bonus for us!

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great place for a get together, pool was nice and warm and kids loved it. Also useful to have different cottages so everyone could get a nap or work done. Would recommend

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Fantastic and quaint two night stay for my Wife's 35th birthday. The Manners apartment was lovely and had Christmas decorations up including a tree. The entire grounds were decorated with amazing lights and the place just looked brilliant inside and out. Hot tub was lovely and it was clear which hot tubs were designated to which property. We made good use of the pool too which was great and booking was very easy. It is an 8 minute drive to Bakewell which is where we spent our day on Saturday. Did a nice 2hr hike followed by pub lunch. Our beagle Baxter had a great time and so did we! We were also offered later checkout which was a lovely touch.
