Townhome vacation rentals in Bedfordshire

I stayed at Juan's place several times this year while working in Oxford, so I know the flat well. I fully recommend this place - clean, quiet and private. It is in a residential area, a little way out of town, so perfect for a longer stay or if you are looking for somewhere a bit quieter than the city centre. Juan is an excellent host: responsive, professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed Lindsey's home. She was very hospitable and great at responding to text and emails. We had a small issue with some burned out light bulbs that were up high in the bathroom and she was on it immediately to add more bulbs. She was a wonderful host! It was a very comfortable home with a lovely garden out back, perfect place for morning coffee. We had everything we needed in the kitchen which was well stocked. The stairs are very small & narrow so you need to be careful going up and down.

Loved our stay at the Beam House. Pictures don’t really do it justice, it’s a lovely house. Breakfast included was nice and the staff in the restaurant were all lovely. Bread could be of a better quality but it was nice to breakfast included. The beds were comfy and the linens were nice. A few minor gripes but it was still a lovely stay. Some notes for improvement: 1) I sent a message with a few simple questions which were not responded to for over three days, had to call to get the answers and it took a few tries for them to answer the phone. So communication could be better 2) a couple of the bath towels have seen better days and should be thrown away, they were threadbare with holes 3) the shower in the main bathroom needs a rethink. The water pressure really isn’t good enough for a waterfall head shower and it’s not suitable for anyone over 5ft 6

We had a three night stay in this apartment which turned out to be far beyond expectations. It is spotless in every detail, mattresses and towels, very soft, included. The kitchen is very well stocked and functional. The neighborhood is delightful and quiet, you sleep without a noise. The metro is very close as the shops that are well stocked. The hosts, especially Dimitri,are super kind and helpful, they respond immediately at every request and this is an additional guarantee. We are so enthusiastic with this apartment. We don't find a downside even looking for it with a magnifying glass. We can't wait to return!!

I can’t say enough great things about Cassie and her lovely home. The location is perfect - quiet, but a stone’s throw from restaurants, shops and downtown Oxford, with a relaxing garden, well-sized bedrooms and a light and airy kitchen and living room. We have a son around the age of Cassie’s kids, so it was a dream setup for us, as he was in heaven playing with an entirely new set of toys/books and the kid setup was in place (e.g. kid plates/cutlery/toddler bed, et al). If you don’t have kids, the house is equally well set-up with nice amenities for adults, such as a hammock, outdoor lounging chair, soda stream, new oven, et al. The beds are especially comfy! There are a ton of things to do within walking distance and even more to do within a 30minute drive; it’s a terrific location to explore the area. Cassie was extremely responsive, focused on making things comfortable for us and full of great suggestions on things to do in the area. We had a wonderful stay!

Clare’s place was a great home from home in Oxford. Taxi to central Oxford was £6. Easily walkable if we had more amenable kids! 😂 The house itself was easy to check-in and nicely decorated. The downstairs suite was newly renovated and the kitchen was well equipped. The sofa in the front room was a comfortable place to relax. A word of warning on parking. The double yellow lines outside the property were my main concern, but I found parking on the street very close by, but I hadn’t appreciated that it’s permit only parking. You may need to venture further afield to find a suitable parking spot or end up with a ticket. 😩

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely 4-bedroom property. The house was neat, clean, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and inviting place to stay. The location was absolutely lovely, providing a peaceful and scenic environment. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and serene getaway!

We had an amazing family staycation and loved everything about this house! It was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for quality time together. The staff were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We all loved the showers .Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! Only issues: small speaker problem, not enough dishwashing tablets therefore had to keep getting some. The TV was not loud enough.

Rachel’s place is a lovely, well equipped family home in the heart of Tring very close to all the local amenities. Rachel is a friendly host who is very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our third stay - visited with two friends while attending a festival close by. As always, it was a great base for us - clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed. Will and Maureen are excellent hosts.

Absolutely blissful! Before the journey even started, Sarah is warm, informative and very helpful! Parking is ample and easy! The collective space of the barns is tranquil and well lit at night via motion sensors providing a perfect balance of privacy and security. The barn itself is better than the photos! We were welcomed with a basket of treats and fridge stocked with amenitities needed. The space is more than ample for 6 guests. And everything was immaculate! Beds and linen are great quality, bathrooms are spacious and provide both bath and shower options. Set over 3 floors plenty of space for kids to have an explore and own space. Central heating combined with undefloor heating makes the whole space feel cozy! Wifi and smart tv keeps eveyone entertained! Local pub and post office (2min walk) provides everything one could require for a mini break! Faultless stay, great home and an incredible host! We have decided as a family to definitely return! Great place to stay, close to shops and restaurants

We loved our stay at Kelly-Anne’s place. Having flown a red eye from the US, I arrived at the home early and exhausted! Kelly-Anne was kind enough to allow me early entry which I was so grateful for. The home is very central to St. Neots town centre and everything is walkable which was lovely! It was clean, spacious and uncluttered. A really lovely and cozy place to stay to visit with family right before Christmas. My sisters and I would definitely choose to stay here again…. Thank you!!

This was my second stay at Catharine’s house. Catharine was a delight to deal with. I had a very comfortable stay, easy to walk to the town centre and great value.

We had a lovely family get together here over Christmas. The house is very comfortable and clean. It has an enclosed garden which was great for our dog. It’s located a few miles from Grantchester and we walked from there to Cambridge a couple of times. Some lovely little walks from the doorstep too. David’s communication was helpful and reliable from the moment we booked. When he realised we were getting together for Christmas, he provided a tree and some decorations. He checked in with us after arrival and was very helpful. We had a great time!

Elenas place was perfect. It was easy to find, and easy to access. Elena was great to communicate with and the place was spotlessly clean and nice and warm. On arrival there was tea and coffee, with a coffee machine. Southgate which is a lovely town was only a 5 minute drive away with some great restaurants and bars and central London took only 30 minutes to get into from the tube which was only a 5/10 minute walk away.

We stayed with our dog for about 10 days in between moving. Super cozy and clean. It had everything we needed for our long stay. Great location to the town center.
