Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

We stayed at the Granary for our short honeymoon, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the cozy charm and intimate atmosphere made us feel right at home. The cottage was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. The views around the grounds were breathtaking—t felt so special to retreat here after a busy wedding and just soak in the romance of the space. We are already planning to revisit in Summer 2025 to see the vineyard in full growth!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is fantastic and Dave’s recommendation of the little pub The Dog House was a great one. A short 1minute walk and you’re there in a great atmosphere with great food. The barn is filled with every necessity you could need. It’s warm and cosy. The Christmas tree was a great touch and made us feel at home. The hot tub was fab. We would definitely come back again, next time in the summer so we can use the pool.

Had an absolutely brilliant time the host was so lovely she baked us cupcakes and bread on arrival and let the kids feed the animals with her she honestly was the best !! The cottage was absolutely beautiful and she had thought of every last thing that we could've possibly needed !! I've recommended this Airbnb to family and friends who are now looking at booking and we will be back next year to see how alpaca friends Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

What a lovely place. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is about a mile from Bexhill-on-Sea, so under 30 mins each each way to walk. Very close to Hastings and other local villages to drive to. The home was well kitted out, lots of space for us to spread out and for our dog to roam outside in the garden. Close to the sea and to walk into town. Ella was very responsive to any messages which we really appreciated.

Helena's place is very peaceful. The house is well-equipped and the breakfast and food basics were very thoughtful. The inflatable hot tub was very nice to relax in, and the sofa and the bed were also comfortable. We had a tricky time finding the house in the complete darkness and without any mobile signal, but the lovely folks in the Coach and Horses helped point us in the right direction eventually. We'd also booked there for dinner for the following night and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, we had a wonderful stay. Pauline was very responsive and helped out with every little thing we asked. Highly recommend this for a serene getaway.

Our second time staying at this location and it was just as perfect as the first time. Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, and everything you could need for a relaxing time away. While Peter was thoroughly welcoming and helpful, we were given as much privacy as we needed. We came for my husband's fortieth birthday and when mine rolled around I knew this is where I wanted to spend it. Thank you Peter and Karen for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful weekend! The highlight was definitely being able to walk straight onto the beautiful sandy beach—it made our stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, and the house was comfortable and clean. Thank you for hosting us, we hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay. Caroline was very quick to reply to messages and there were lots of lovely extra touches in the house like full breakfast options and chocolates for the children. The setting is stunning. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Sadly this is our last stay at Allis’ wonderful home due to it being sold. My brother and myself use it to come visit our elderly Mother and have been made more than welcome every time. Alli leaves lots of personal touches like selections of biscuits , different tea bags to try. Even a pint of milk and a loaf of bread awaits you. Absolutely fell in love with Lynda’s little cottage - we didn’t want to leave! It is such a gem. We felt instantly at home, it’s is so comfortable and cosy and just what we needed to recoup. The bed in particular was unbelievably comfortable and we got some of the best sleep we’ve had in ages. A small thing I would mention - the shower is positioned under a sloped roof so you can’t stand up if you’re above about 5’6, but the bath is great! Oh and be sure to pack a pair of slippers as the concrete floors are quite cold in winter. Despite this, this was still my favourite air BnB I’ve ever stayed in, it just had so much charm. Full of amazing books (it’s rare I would sit and read an air BnB host’s books on holiday, but we spent two nights reading for hours by the fire and it was bliss!) great board games, plus Linda left us milk and croissants for breakfast. A true haven and I cant wait to come back!

Lovely place with a great pub and beautiful Kent countryside just outside the cottage Sarah the host was so helpful and always responded ever so promptly The cottage itself was welcoming and extreemly comfortable The fireplace of course was a plus and overall-this is such a greta choice for ayone wanting a weekend escape from London The hot water and water pressure were both excellent-so important in colder weather She also very kindly allowed us to check out later--without even me needing to ask Thank you and highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Dani’s place! It was spotless and beautifully designed, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the garden. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the beach, and with convenient bus access to Rye. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful stay at Dot- perfectly decorated, full of whimsy & joy and in a super central location with everything you could need surrounding it! As we stayed in December we were greeted to a beautifully lit Christmas tree in the front room and a magical Rye- The whole town was decorated and sparkling! Lots of cosy pubs with friendly staff and sweet independent shops. There’s a deli nearby which has such a great selection of cheeses, chocolates, wine etc Hastings is a 20 min train from Rye and the Old Town is well worth a visit for lovers of vintage and quaint shops. The bedroom in Dot is oh so cosy and pretty- I had a restful sleep and woke to lovely views in the morning from the little windows! I also loved popping over to Knoops before an evening walk and getting a delicious hot choc from the friendly staff. Catherine is a perfect host, giving you lots of great recommendations for Rye and the surrounding areas! Can’t wait to stay again!! x x

Great place, lovely hosts. Their communication was above and beyond with tailor made guide. The property is beautiful. Very close to Rye (5-10 car ride). Very close to Camber Sands Beach (5-10 mins walk). Strongly recommended.

We really enjoyed staying at Katie’s cottage. Katie was really helpful and gave us nice clear instructions to find the cottage. The house was very clean and had everything we wanted. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was nice and warm even in the stormy weather. Thank you for an easy and lovely stay.

Excellent holiday cottage set in idyllic surroundings, each facillity Within the cottage were as described and we felt imeediately comfortable! Local restaurants were excellent so much so we eat out all week, so very well satisfied all round My contact at beachy head estate office (evie) was excellent in Handling our enquiries before and during our stwy, so Evie take a bow for a job well done

Great cottage in a beautiful location. Garden, and the snowdrops were stunning. The only downside was the very low ceilings. Anyone of average height is likely to hit their head on the beam in the kitchen. This was mentioned in other reviews, and expected in an old cottage, but was not mentioned in the description.

We had a lovely stay in the Long Stable. It is a very thoughtful conversion - keeps many of the rustic elements of a stable but with high quality furnishings that make for a very comfortable stay. The roads get progressively smaller, so we would recommend arriving in daylight when you first arrive. The compensation is a lovely peaceful outlook, and loads of interesting places to explore in the vicinity.

We had a fabulous time at Jo’s Jo was extremely attentive and responded immediately. So many great touches like coffee, tea, orange juice and eggs. The area and the view are absolutely stunning, honestly the pictures do not do justice compared to when you are there!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay in Studio Cottage which was clean, comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and a very welcome welcome basket was left! We enjoyed the sweet treats. Sissinghurst has a pub/restaurant, an excellent fish and chip shop and a shop which has to be seen to be believed! There are some lovely walks locally as well as castles and gardens. Jackie has provided comprehensive information in her guide. We would certainly recommend the cottage. Thank you.
