Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bassetlaw District

The property met our requirements which was within walking distance to my daughter's. A very comfortable property with the space that we needed. Alison was a great host and would certainly stay here again.

We had a fantastic weekend in Nottingham celebrating our Daughter’s birthday. 5 adults and 2 children . Robbie and Kelly’s house is absolutely loverly, very high tech and they couldn’t do enough for us. We would highly recommend !!

We had an absolutely great few days here. We booked with some friends and we all really enjoyed it. The day before we arrived it had snowed so everything looked amazing. Having the log fire to use was really nice and got the house really cosy. I would definitely stay here again

We were looking for somewhere close to where we needed to be, and would allow us to bring our 2 well behaved dogs. So glad we did. The house is beautifully presented, the attention to detail was outstanding. There were many thoughtful touches including the flowers, chocolates and donut dog biscuits. The log burner was lovely and the supply of wood much appreciated. Very comfortable bed and quality bed linen was again much appreciated. And the overall huge tick in the box for us was the house top to bottom is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Great stay with friends, very comfortable & homely, Alisha was very quick to respond to a query when we couldn’t find something & even followed up to check that everything was ok. Great location, only a five minute walk via the bridge to get into town.

We had a lovely weekend at Apricot Cottage. A beautiful cottage with amazing amenities. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch and we all enjoyed roasting the complimentary marshmallows over the log fire. Lovely cake and hot chocolate treats too. The beds were so comfortable and the house and whole area so peaceful. Very family friendly. We’d love to stay again in the future and would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic stay - just a stunning beautiful cosy cottage with beautiful furniture, kitchen , bathroom and bedroom. Attention to detail is incredible- Marieanne’s a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful- nothing to much trouble. Parked the car safely outside the property and walked into Castleton with all the great amenities. Thankyou Marieanne

Lovely little place , perfect for me, my wife and our teenage daughter on a visit to Newark upon Trent. Easy to drive into town , my family loved the town whilst I was at the air museum. Feel like we need to come back to this part of the world at some point as we found lots of other places to visit. When we do I hope this property is available to rent as it was perfect for us.

This apartment is spot on! Highly recommend staying here! Really cosy, spacious, brilliant location (so central) and great for exploring the area. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4 staying for 3 nights. Our boys loved the comfy sofa and double beds! The master bedroom is spacious, light and airy. Clean, modern kitchen and new bathroom. Sally recommended 2 brilliant, local restaurants and we loved both! Thornebridge Tap Room and Woodyard. Great for families. A great stay and will definitely recommend it to friends and family! Thank you Sally for all of your help and speedy responses 🤩. Would recommend visiting Chatsworth House, Thornebridge Hall and Mam Tor.

Charlotte is a fantastic host - very welcoming and has a fabulous apartment with quality amenities. Had everything we needed for our stay and more. Castleton is a perfect location for exploring the Peak District. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Diane’s bunker . It was very spacious, nice decor, great location but I would say it is up a very steep hill so would be better for more mobile people. Parking on site , lovely & peaceful location . Very responsive & communication with Diane too . Would definitely recommend the bunker & stay here again .
