Monthly Rentals in Balsdean

I had a lovely month or so remote working here. While it is a small space, there is a nice private patio looking onto a lovely garden. And I very much enjoyed seeing Spring emerge and listening to the birdsong in the morning. All good! Just a few points for other remote workers who might fancy a stay: the area is quiet for there are no noise problems with online meetings, there are plenty of electric sockets, and the internet was good. In Lewes, there were plenty of cafes where you could work too, if you want a change of scene.

We booked Caroline’s Studio for my parents who were visiting. We were so impressed with everything from the communication and location to the spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable accommodation. It had everything needed and the little terrace was a lovely addition to eat breakfast in the morning. The studio is beautifully decorated and my mum reported that the bed was very comfortable. Caroline is very friendly and helpful and I knew my parents would be well looked after with her. We would highly recommend this place and it is now my parent’s preferred choice when they next come to stay!

I stayed here for 5 weeks for work purposes. Although I spent most weekdays away at work, I found the garden very enjoyable and I especially appreciated the privacy and quietness. Easy access to various buses. I also walked to the city centre a few times and returned by bus (didn't realise in my previous visits how hilly Brighton is!!!

After a couple of not so good Airbnb experiences we very much enjoyed staying at Darren’s flat. Everything you need for a long stay. Excellent location if you want to be centrally located. Bed was comfortable. It's nice just looking out of the windows and watch life passing by. The neighbour noise was low and most of the time it seemed like nobody was there. Nice touches on fresh flowers, tea, coffee, soaps etc. Darren accommodated us getting early entry. All in all would highly recommend it and would return if in the area.
