Monthly Rentals in Balsdean

I had a lovely month or so remote working here. While it is a small space, there is a nice private patio looking onto a lovely garden. And I very much enjoyed seeing Spring emerge and listening to the birdsong in the morning. All good! Just a few points for other remote workers who might fancy a stay: the area is quiet for there are no noise problems with online meetings, there are plenty of electric sockets, and the internet was good. In Lewes, there were plenty of cafes where you could work too, if you want a change of scene.

Fabulous experience! I only stayed 2 nights but I wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly welcome and super responsive and helpful hosts. I will highly recommend this lovely annex. I also had a fantastic massage and facial treatment which completed my stay. If you are looking for quiet and relaxing getaway that’s your place! It is conveniently located near bus stops taking you into Brighton or just walk along the white cliffs to the Marina! Hope to be back!

I stayed here for 5 weeks for work purposes. Although I spent most weekdays away at work, I found the garden very enjoyable and I especially appreciated the privacy and quietness. Easy access to various buses. I also walked to the city centre a few times and returned by bus (didn't realise in my previous visits how hilly Brighton is!!!

We had an amazing NYE stay at the Cozy Nook & highly recommend it. There weren't many places in the Deans so we were so happy with how spacious & comfy it was. Steve was a friendly, helpful host & kindly allowed us to bring our 1 year old (we brought all our own amenities) and it was an ideal home for our little family for a few days. He even helped us with flexible check in times which made our trip so much easier. The street is also beautiful, residential and quiet. We walked down to the Duck Inn pub in 10 mins but there were a few more friendly local pubs too. If you keep walking down to the seafront we recommend Elate cafe near Tesco for breakfast too. You can then walk along the coast overlooking the sea & white cliffs & there is an easy bus route to Brighton center. Great location outside of Brighton!
