Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach vacation rentals

As with any place in this area, always concerned about parking. TWO SPOTS! One in the garage. Little cozy. We had a Ford Escape - passengers got out before parking, but there’s enough room. Inside is so nice. Beds are EXTREMELY comfortable. There were a ton of towels - much appreciated. Kitchen is so well stocked with appliances, dishes, and silverware. Greta was always ahead of time with information. She answered any questions very quickly, even on the weekend. Everything about our stay was great. Thank you Greta.

The beach bungalow was perfect. It was 4 houses from the beach (but not really much of a "beach", more like a mooring for the local boats) and was beautiful and peaceful. The house got lots of natural light which is a must for me! It was small and I wouldn't recommend for a family of more than 2 kids because of size and the need to be quiet because of very close neighbors. The master had a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom had 2 twins. Kitchen was small but functional and fully equipped. Had a Jack-n-Jill bath. Rooms were small but the house was cozy and exactly what I was looking for. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Patricia gave clear instructions on gaining access to the house. Altho the houses were very close together as is normal on a small island in Newport Beach, it was very private and had a nice private patio in front. Great place to stay and I would definitely return!

Great space close to the beach. Plenty of room- we had 4, could easily accommodate more. Walkable to restaurants and shops. You do have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, but not a huge problem.

We had a beautiful 5 days at Ann’s place. We are hosts ourselves and still everything exceeded our expectations. We partied on the beach with friends but absolutely loved the 9pm quiet time. So nice not to have loud parties and beach activity disturbing our zen. We could enjoy the sunsets in peace and tranquility. We are already planning our next years trip. 5+++ stars for Anna and her family, we felt right at home!

Great location was able to walk to downtown Huntington to the beach to lots of activities. Great Communication with the host easy check-in. Will stay there again!

This was the perfect location. Just steps away from the beach. Anything you could need was available in the home. It felt warm and welcoming. Definitely would stay again!

The location was unbeatable—just steps from the beach, where we spent endless hours enjoying the sand and waves. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs, toys, and towels, making it perfect for a stress-free getaway. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had a smooth experience. The outdoor space was great for relaxing after a long day by the ocean, and the nearby restaurants and attractions made exploring easy. If you're looking for a relaxing, family-friendly beach retreat, this is the perfect spot. We can't wait to come back!

Improvements made to home we stayed at before. Ranch house had everything we needed plus air fryer, rice cooker, electric tea kettle in the kitchen. Roomy living room. 4 good size bedrooms.

The location is great. It is a few minutes to Marine Ave with many shops and restaurants. It is about a 15 minute walk to the ferry. The furnishings are basic but, the accommodations are clean and spacious. Having a parking spot in the carport is very convenient. The host is responsive.

after some long days walking almost 9 miles in Disneyland, the hot tub was a miracle! Judy was very responsive even in later hours of the evening when we had questions. Definitely would stay here again.

Krizty’s place was in a great location. It was close to the beach and a lot of restaurants and shops. Krizty was very accommodating and was even able to drop off a new propane tank within 5 minutes of me messaging her. Thank you for the great stay!

We stayed at Sarah’s place last year and had such a great experience we decided to stay again! She is a wonderful host, always responsive, and gave great recommendations for SoCal. The house is steps from the beach, grocery store and restaurant. Absolutely perfect spot for a vacation!

Crystal‘s place was perfect for our group stay! You can’t beat the location! The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to cook with for our stay. Was able to access the garage easily. Loved all the clear instructions in the binder and things to do. Would definitely stay here again!

It was an amazing place to stay with beautiful rooftop views. Clifton was very helpful with checking and with any questions I had. Although beware. Like other reviews the only thing is there is at of stairs as every rooms and living room are on separate floors. It’s definitely not a complaint for me but you can find it tiring after a long day out. There was clean linens, towels, and toiletries available. Has a gas stove that worked great with some pans included that we made French toast with. The area also great and felt safe 24/7. It had garage parking which is great as the area can fill up during the day time with people going to the beach. I’d highly recommend the place, especially if staying for multiple days or with other people. It’s a great roomy location that I hope to be able to return to sometime.

This place was lovely and Sue was very accommodating. It was clean, spacious and a great location. We didn't realize this was two separate units with two rooms in each unit. Great for one wanting privacy. The kitchen is pretty stocked with all that you need. Comfy beds, relaxing common space and large dining room table for gathering. The bed frame was a little squeaky (which I only noticed because I had a little one sleeping with me, so I had to try to be super quiet lol) but other than that, this place was perfect. <3 Thank you Sue! We appreciate your hospitality.

Location and house couldn’t be better for great day time activities. Our kids loved it (15 yo) they were able to safely go about their days independently. House was beautiful, airy, bright. As stated in some reviews bring earplugs for the primary as it faces a busy street and by 7am it gets noisy. But we’ll be back. Totally worth it.

We had the best time!! Everything was just as described. The view from the patio is lovely and the beach is right in front of you. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.
