Our stay was great, Vasilis is a great guest! For us, the house was very comfortable as a base for many car excursions to all of Attica and its historic towns. We also found beautiful beaches nearby, especially in Shinias, near Marathon. Great to grab coffee in the morning on the porch, smelling the plants in the garden. The house is in a quiet and quiet area of Nea Makri, but it is easily accessible, close to the great road that leads directly to Athens. The only defect of the area, but not only there, is the problem that the garbage bins are not emptied regularly and the municipality should keep the whole country more tidy, so it would be perfect for a special vacation.

Large house with two floors. Fantastic views over the ocean. Manolis was a very good host. Always responded quickly and was very helpful. Recommend car as it is steep hill up to the house and there are no super market nearby. Kaki Thalassa Beach often has big waves which we appreciate and a cliff for children and young people to jump from.

Vicki is a great host always attentive and with good advice for discovering the region. The accommodation is spacious and quiet with a great garden. A real pleasure to enjoy the sea and restaurants within a 10-minute walk. The historical sites of Athens are amazing. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful apartment on the 1st level of a 2-storied house. Spotless, cool even during the week-long heatwave we encountered (~110F). On a side, dirt road, buried among trees, it’s walking distance to a supermarket, a fancy beach club, a beach, and a couple of restaurants. Less than 1km away on each side are many more restaurants, bars with organized beaches, and one of the best public (with entrance fee) organized beaches in the region (Avlaki). Great bathroom (large counter space, lots of storage space, spacious shower, modern) especially for Greek standards. WiFi, A/C, and TV worked without a glitch. Bonus: a family of artists, the hosts have decorated the home with their original art that will impress. Finally, the house guard-dog, Wendy, will steal your (and any kids’) hearts. Great value, perfect for our family of 4 (with young kids).

Our stay at Sofia's was great. The house is well equipped with many everyday necessities that you won't find in many other accommodations. The location is great in Porto Rafti, you can walk to the narrow beach and to many delicious restaurants. We had a rental car, with which you can quickly reach the airport, Athens or other beaches from Porto Rafti. An ideal starting point for a relaxing vacation. Great vacation, happy to come back!!!
