Cabin vacation rentals in Astor

If you ate looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature this is the place. Cottage has the best location, you can see the wooded area and the lake and a short walk from the pool.

We rented January 1 - April 1, 2015. Owners were quickly responsive, very helpful, friendly - best owners we have ever rented from , anywhere. Cottage - exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, furniture comfortable, huge TV-cable-internet were exceptional, well equipped kitchen, beds comfortable, storage in dressers and closets. Outdoors - great to have a gas grill + screen patio, large front + side lawns, no steps, double parking area, resort community is friendly and welcoming - especially pickleball and yoga folks, lake is lovely with easy put in for kayaks at the boat ramp, sunsets are spectacular! We think you would have a wonderful time at this cottage.

A little overpriced but fun room accurately described as upscale glamping. Fridge didn’t work and wasn’t cleaned but bed was comfortable. That half bath is really small. If you like adventure, you’ll like this.

Amazing place! We even had a bear visitor, saw three deer on the side of the road coming back one night, and a baby alligator.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !

Peaceful and beautiful. Cute cottage, near listed amenities. The location is better suited for families rather than couples.

Jackie was responsive and when asked provided great recommendations. As previous posts said, even though there are neighbors it was still private. Will stay again

We had a wonderful weekend and this beautiful place. The sliding glad door would not lock for us and the pool seemed to be closed on Sunday but other than that, everything was marvelous. Danielle is very responsive ! She took the time to make sure we got in safely and even followed up on the event we went to that day. Was so kind of her! Would definitely recommend and book again in the future!

Booked the Magical Cabin for a girls weekend and it was just as described! Beautiful landscapes and a nice, magical stay. We loved the cabin and how close it was to so many great amenities and towns. We hope to stay there again in the future.

This was our second stay at Maribel's place. We love it! The backyard is perfect for our dog. The space is cozy and well-equipped (we made all our meals). The neighborhood is quiet. It's close to a dog park and pickleball courts. Maribel is a great communicator--helpful, responsive, and kind. We love the place and will definitely come back.

SO GRATEFUL! We came to escape the hurricane and Diana was so flexible and nice! The place was awesome too. More spacious than the pictures show. Private, quiet, away from the city! We had all that we needed and more. Played a ton of ping pong in the screened outdoor area. Next adventure we will be looking to book here again. 5/5 Stars!

The little tin roof cabin was EXACTLY what we wanted. The decor, amenities, space, surroundings perfect. Perfect for a bestie sleepover! Chose to have a staycation vs lots of adventure, but if more time, a lot of exploring to be had. Definitely a re-do in the future!

We participated in an event at Dunns Creek State Park, which was under 1.5 miles from the cabin. Our stay at the cabin was perfect for our large group. The cabin had everything we needed from kitchen essentials, to games for the down time to the fire pit outside.

My husband and I just had the absolute, most amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. The hosts communicated thoroughly and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The photos and description are all 100% accurate but don’t show the true beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. There were several kayaks w/lifejackets, firewood (with starters), fishing poles w/tackle, coffee/tea provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Pack your food, drinks and clothes-that is it! They have everything needed for the most relaxing and wonderful get-away!

My friend's and I couldn't have enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin any more. The cabin was super cozy, well appointed, and was located in such a peaceful, tucked away neighborhood. It was a very welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of south Florida. And we got to visit Amanda's horses right across the street, which was extra special! The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable. Amanda is extremely responsive and was amenable to questions and requests we had. We would absolutely love to stay at the cabin again in the future

Bryan is a very nice host. we communicated by phone before we arrived and he gave me a rundown on the area. we stayed for over 2 weeks, during our stay he arranged for trash to be picked up twice and for his housekeeper Trish to freshen up the place and wash towels and twice. There was some traffic on the road infront of the house, but we still felt comfortable and had privacy. There's a dollar general a few minutes down the road as well. There was basic necessities as well as lots of soaps, kitchen stuff, some toys and books for kids, etc. The only downside to the cabin is there isn't a bathtub, it's clearly listed that there isn't a tub, I just missed it. Also, there's no dinning room table but there is a counter with tall chairs as well as lots of stools and tables outside that we made good use of. The AC units all worked great. I used Excel laundry mat during my stay @ 2507 NE 3rd st in Ocala. It was clean, had a restroom, machines were debit/credit card activated.

Perfect space for a couple. Large comfortable bed and lots of choices for outside sitting. The stairs are a little steep buy not too bad. Neighborhood was quite which was great for sleeping in. Very close to Salt Springs and about 30 mins to Silver Springs. Had a great stay. Thanks.

This home is very comfortably and thoughtfully furnished with just about any amenity you may have forgotten to pack. We visited with friends who live in the Villages and this place was a convenient place to stay located less than 1/2 hour away from their home. We loved the privacy and enjoyed listening to all the birds singing nearby. If we visit the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of every day life then this is the place for you. You could stay here and never have to leave the property to have a great time. My partner and I spent our 10 year anniversary here and it was great! We woke up to limpkins fishing on the shore and fell asleep to the sound of crickets. We went to Blue Spring State Park just up the road (or river) and saw a plethora of animals including manatees and alligators. We also had a fantastic time watching the fireflies at night. The host provided ample entertainment and we spent most nights playing cards, listening to records, and watching VHS movies. Overall, we had a wonderful time making the most of the nature here and enjoyed the amenities provided.

This is a great spot to escape the hustle & bustle!! The views are stunning, it's a very quiet and peaceful spot! Marcus was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Very beautiful location it was a five-star all the way they are definitely super hosts and the home is extremely clean you will never regret going to their home it is a awesome awesome place

Loved, loved the location!! Bike paths were amazing!! Felt safe . With only three other homes close by it was quiet. Ray even offered a shelter for our ebikes !

This cabin is next level! It’s exactly what we were looking for—a secluded cabin with all necessary amenities to immerse ourselves in nature. The place is so clean and has such a nice retro vibe. The location is unbeatable—a 2 minute walk to the Rodman Reservoir, lots of hiking trails, and great food if you want to go into town. The screened porch is amazing—we’d relax all day just watching the nature, day and night, without worrying about any bugs! Lisa is an excellent host, so responsive and hospitable. I will always remember this special vacation, and I hope to return soon for another stay!
