Beautiful well appointed cosy cottage which is also very peaceful and relaxing. The location of Coes farm is surrounded by stunning country side and there are plenty of places for superb walks and places to visit even in the worst of weathers. Jess and Martin are superb hosts and respond very quickly to any queries you have. Everyone we met were friendly and respected your privacy. We would love to visit again in the Spring.

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Had such a lovely stay. The garden was great for the dog as was fully enclosed and the house was beautiful. Would really recommend and just wished we were staying longer!! The Lantern pub in the road is a MUST!

Helena and her husband Phillip were great hosts! Very thankful for them . The stay was great, they provided a loaf of bread, some bread and butter . Very beautiful home , stars at night from the bed room . Would recommend to anyone! We stayed two nights if booked again I’d stay at least 3 or 4! Thanks again!

Myself and my partner stayed here in January 2025. We wanted a relaxing peaceful place to stay in the UK. Peters place was perfect. The views were gorgeous from the lodge. Private access to the jacuzzi and pool was a huge benefit after a long day exploring Hastings and Rye. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and lounge area was very cosy with the wood burner in cold January. The bedroom was a very good size with a comfortable king size bed and lots of storage. The bathroom was very clean and shower easy to use. We both loved staying here, the area and surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, for a long weekend away. Peter was very inviting and friendly. We will definitely be returning in warmer months to enjoy again. Highly recommend a stay here.

Daweswood is a beautiful and luxurious cottage. You have everything you need for a comfortable weekend away. It’s perfect for families and groups. I’d absolutely recommend to anyone.

Badgers Den was spotlessly clean , and the best equipped AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. They have thought of everything. The facilities were amazing and the gardens simply divine. Their love of horticulture was very obvious with the amount of beautiful plants in the property. I thought the ones in the cottage were fake initially as they were so big and lush. But they are all real ! Sadly the weather was pretty rubbish but we spent a few days just cosying up in the cottage playing games and watching films . Cannot recommend this place enough and hopefully will come back when the weather is a bit better. Great hosts. Great place . Incredible attention to detail. Thank you so much

We had a lovely time at Stephanie’s place. The cottage is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. It is also very quiet. There was a welcome pack, when we arrived, with some delicious food. From East Hoathly it’s a short drive to many places of interest. I also recommend the King’s Head, the local pub (great food!) Perfect! Thank you Stephanie and I hope we can stay there again.

Cosy cottage, perfect for us 2 and the dogs. Nice space accurately listed, very good value for money. I’d recommend the Plough pub nearby with super friendly staff and good food.

2 Badgers Rest is worth its rating. Tina our host was helpful, let us know she was available but not at all intrusive. The cottage is clean and warm with good quality furnishings and super comfy bed. 5 Star throughout and we will look forward to another visit.

We had a wonderful weekend! The highlight was definitely being able to walk straight onto the beautiful sandy beach—it made our stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, and the house was comfortable and clean. Thank you for hosting us, we hope to return soon!

Everything was great and as described with a perfect location close to the sea front. Stephen was friendly and made us feel welcome upon arrival so it was easy to settle in and relax. A well deserved five stars!

Lovely stay! Lynda’s cottage is so cute and cosy, perfect for a chilled weekend away. We did a long 10km walk around Hastings nature park with lunch at the Bale House…very very muddy this time of year, it’s a good job we packed our walking boots :) close to a great Italian restaurant called Rusticos.. the pizza was amazing! The fire added to the cosy feel and kept us warm. Our little dachshund Rolo loved the warmth of the fire too! Thank you Lynda and it was great to meet you before we left today. X

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and my friends and I had a wonderful time again. The house was exactly as described, clean, warm and welcoming. There were logs available to use for the log burner which added to the cosy atmosphere in the evenings of our stay. Though even without this, the house was very warm even in the February temperatures. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware in the kitchen and the oven is easy to use. And there’s even a pantry of various items to use if needed - seasonings, olive oil, etc. Sarah was excellent at communicating throughout the run-up to the stay and afterwards and was very responsive to any messages. The area the house is in is beautiful. Lovely walks and a great pub with delicious food a 5 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure we’ll be back for a third visit.

We would like to say a big thank you. We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property. The garden was 100% safe for our dog and we found it nice and quiet, surrounded by nature and orchards. Mark had left lots of leaflets showing what's going on in the area, and was very kind to recommend places to visit and eat/drink. The accommodation was designed and decorated with alot of thought and attention to detail, to establish a very comfortable stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

Excellent holiday cottage set in idyllic surroundings, each facillity Within the cottage were as described and we felt imeediately comfortable! Local restaurants were excellent so much so we eat out all week, so very well satisfied all round My contact at beachy head estate office (evie) was excellent in Handling our enquiries before and during our stwy, so Evie take a bow for a job well done

Lovely place to stay, our fourth time and it was as good as ever. Great way to relax and unwind, sure we’ll be back for a fifth time

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

A lovely few days at Hazel cottage. The cottage was clean, light, very peaceful and it had everything we needed to make it a home from home. We enjoyed a couple of evening meals in the garden, some lovely walks along the North Downs Way with some very nice lunches at pubs along the way. I felt very comfortable allowing my dog to roam around the garden, which was very secure - he met his first hedgehog there l. Claudia and her partner were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Fischer’s cottage is a wonderfully tranquil getaway in a beautiful part of Kent. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen and a magnificent wood burning stove in the living room to keep us cosy on a slightly chilly Summer evening. The garden was a delight and allowed our two-year old daughter a great space to play. We even made use of the BBQ and outdoor wood-burning stove. D was so helpful with directions, recommendations of where to visit and which pubs and restaurants to eat at. We would certainly come back again.

Just returned from a lovely stay in this barn. Beautiful location despite all the rain and wind, still managed to get out and see some local places. Very comfortable accommodation, immaculately clean and a great host, would highly recommend if visiting this area

Lovely unexpected stay at Caroline’s whilst emergency repairs were carried out at home. Caroline was extremely helpful and responsive & the cottage was very well equipped for our last minute needs! Property grounds are beautiful. We may well go back in the summer for a couple of nights. Thank you Caroline.

We had a fabulous time at Jo’s Jo was extremely attentive and responded immediately. So many great touches like coffee, tea, orange juice and eggs. The area and the view are absolutely stunning, honestly the pictures do not do justice compared to when you are there!!!
