Came to visit our daughter for family weekend at Calpoly Humboldt Great location close to campus and arcata square. Supper clean. Quiet and peaceful. We hope to be back

I really cannot convey the thoughtful and gracious design of this beautiful jewel box of an apartment. Lt is an amazing host, responding within minutes to a couple small concerns, and always made clear he was immediately available. This apartment is, in a word, my definition of absolutely fabulous. It is ingeniously arranged and designed. Fixtures, art, mirrors, color palette - anyone who has stayed in a Parisienne flat or Deco apartment will adore it. This is Eureka incarnate. If you love NYC, and a host who has magically created a subtle exterior into a glittering interior with every thoughtful amenity, will appreciate what Lt has done here. I plan a return. I would stay nowhere else. I've stayed in Eureka's highest-end locales. THIS feels like home. I don't like a sterile environment with zero character. I prefer the visionary, exquisite hand-crafted experience Lt has created. He, his beautiful wife are artists with an impeccable eye. They've worked tirelessly to please the guest.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to visit my sister! We wanted to stay somewhere close to restaurants and shops and this is the perfect spot! It’s right next to the Arcata Town Square and there are so many fun things to do nearby. The apartment is very nice, clean, and warm, and not noisy at all! I was expecting more noise but it was actually pretty quiet night and morning! It also was nice and warm and we didn’t have to worry about being too cold during the night! It was very clean and perfect for us. Hosts were responsive and very kind, thank you! We enjoyed our stay :)

The central location in Old Town Eureka gave us a lot to do within walking distance. The unit itself was cozy and clean with a great view. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect for what I needed. Easy, safe, clean, super comfortable and wonderful location if you want to be in the center of the action. Around the corner from Los Bagels— a must do! Bed and bedding was so very comfortable.

It was even cuter than we thought it would be. Felt right at home. The shower was small, but not too small. Whatever space was lacking was made up for by the water pressure and temp. So good! The street was quiet, and the windows made it nice to overlook. Great spot!

Daniela was such an incredible host. She found that we had left a few items behind by mistake and was so conscientious to message me so we could meet up and she brought them to us! She was absolutely lovely communicating with us, incredible to meet her in person, and we are so happy and look forward to staying there again. Our daughter was previewing Cal Poly Humboldt and I hope she attends beginning this fall, so we can return! The unit was so peaceful and it felt as though you had the forest to yourself just off your patio. 4 young doe greeted us in the morning. It was incredible!

Simple and comfortable place to stay in the village of Trinidad. Walkable to the harbor, market, breakfast, fresh seafood market. It is not fancy, but it is roomy and clean. Our family of 4 would definitely stay there again. We had a great time hiking the redwoods and beaches and do not need fancy digs with a hot tub and sweeping views (plenty fantastic views nearby). That said, there is a nice little backyard with table and chairs. Very enjoyable stay.

This is one of the best AirBnB’s that I’ve ever stayed in, and I traveled for work for five years so I’ve stayed in A LOT of them. Larry’s place is awesome and you should stay there, especially if you want to explore Arcata Plaza and the surrounding area. The entrance, furnishings, kitchen supplies, TV, apartment heater, and the bed were all incredible. The place is super comfortable and yet convenient to all of the amenities of downtown Arcata. Larry was very helpful and responsive throughout my stay. This is a fantastic place to stay in downtown Arcata. If you get the opportunity, book here! You won’t regret it!

Shannon's place was a nice spot, central to a lot of things nearby. I was able to walk to most places. I appreciated the closeness to restaurants, bars, and the Co-op store. She was also very responsive with my questions and things that came up. I would bring extra layers. Not sure if I could have gotten the heat to get warmer, but it was cooler in the apartment. The place was comfortable and spacious.

This was the BEST stay for me and my partner! Felt very private, we were able to take plenty of walks around the neighborhood without feeling like we were disturbing the neighbors or nature, and Jamal and Michelle had plenty of great recommendations for food and activities in the area. It truly felt like such a gift to stay in such a beautiful location with incredible people and stunning nature. Can’t wait to come back soon!!

A great spot!! In a great location close to Old Town, private, and peaceful. Super clean and well stocked with extra blankets and kitchen/bathroom necessities. Howard is super nice and had lots of recommendations for local spots and restaurants! Would definitely stay here again & recommend!

We loved staying here! It was the perfect base for our visit to the Redwoods. The whole space was clean and the hot tub was a great bonus! Perfect for relaxing after a day filled with hiking. It was convenient to nearby eateries too. Would recommend!

The house/ apartment is an old Victorian (Edwardian?) so it was very charming, warm and comfortable. The neighborhood is likewise. Even though the street is moderately busy with traffic it was a quiet and calm place to be. Unfortunately I was only in town for work which kept me busy from before dawn to after sunset so I never had a chance to walk the neighborhood during daylight hours. But from all observation the surrounds looks like a quiet and humble neighborhood of family houses and yards. Admittedly, nothing is too far away from anywhere else in Eureka so a longer stay would have enabled some nice walking tours of the very notable architecture throughout the neighborhood. Despite the old traditional nature of the home, the bathroom and kitchen was modernized and very comfortable. I can readily recommend staying at Amy’s place.

The apartment was perfect for our family, and was very close to downtown. Our kids loved the backyard and ping pong table. The beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the internet was a little slow (this may be local issue). We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic space! My coworker and I stayed here for vacation multiple days and found it to be perfect for what we needed! Great amenities, super clean, and had everything we needed. Hosts were so detailed with what we needed to know and incredibly responsive. I would love nothing more than to stay at this place again. Amazing hosts!

The place was very clean and roomy! There is some noise above you, so be prepared if you are a light sleeper. The hot tub was clean and hot and the pictures do not do it justice for its privacy!

Comfortable home and perfect location.

My favorite Airbnb experience to date! Frankie was responsive, helpful and friendly. The space was everything we expected and more. It was cozy and felt like a luxury stay with many thoughtful touches. Loved looking out the window in the morning and being surrounded by redwoods while drinking coffee. We took advantage of the hot tub, which felt amazing after packing around a 3-year-old hiking. This is the perfect location for those wanting to explore.
