Monthly Rentals in Álftafjörður

Philip’s house is beautiful and very cozy. Everything is there, all kitchen utensils and bathroom products, even movies and fantastic board games. I especially liked the viking game and highly recommend to try it. You can really feel at home there.

The appartment was great, well equipped and clean with a great view. Snorri and his wife are excellent hosts, kind and helpful. We did have a small issue with the bathroom sink, as it would not drain the water at first - it turned out we are less than competent, as all we had to do was push a small button behind the faucet to open the drain 🤦‍♀️ Luckily for us, Snorri and his wife immediatelly came to our rescue and fixed it with a push of a button 😆 Anyway, we had a great time there and want to thank Snorri and his wife for an excellent stay!

The photos alone don’t do enough justice to all the thoughtful design touches nor the sweeping views of Ísafjörður. Hildur had many great local suggestions and a kind personal communication style that felt really welcoming and warm. We loved staying here, exploring the area slowly and thoughtfully and felt great returning to a well appointed kitchen and comfortable cozy spot. Thanks!

It was the best stay of my Iceland road trip. The only place where I did spend the whole time at home, cooking and watching sunrise sunset, Sea from right the window. Attic bedroom was so cozy. Beautiful hike right beside the house. I wish I could there for much longer 🥹
