Lake house vacation rentals in Alexandria

The cabin was very up to date with all the things you needed for a vacation. The property was very clean. Loved being able to use the outside water toys they had. We brought a pontoon and there was plenty of room to beach it on shore or tie to the dock. We felt right at home here. Only down fall is the resort down the beach, Lakeshore is not friendly at all and can make you feel like you are breaking the law with them watching you constantly. The owners of the resort across the street, Buck Point were so friendly. We bought gas and a few other items over there and they even borrowed us a pack-n-play as we forgot one. All in all the cabin and hosts were great! We would definitely rebook here.

Brett was very responsive and helpful. The place is great we went for a family xmas and it was nicely decorated the lake is gorgeous, tons of waterfowl. Beds, linens, bathrooms, and kitchen very well cleaned and comfortable. Highly recommend. I have stayed at other places where they scrimped on everything. Bretts place is not that way. Ready for alot of guests, and alot of fun.

Chelsea’s home was perfect! Spotless, clean and very comfortable. Nice quiet area with beautiful view of the lake. We liked how new the property is, comfortable rooms, great kitchen and being able to grill outside. Using the fire pit in the evening was a great way to end the day.

We had a great stay the house was as described. The kids enjoyed the game room with ping pong and Wii. The setting by the lake was queit and beautiful.

We had a group of 9 of us and we were all very comfortable here. Very lovely and spacious home on the lake. Beautiful scenery out the balcony windows. Beautiful Sunsets and Sunrises. The location is very close to New London and Spicer. Very easy to get too. Plenty of space for parking. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub - both soooo nice! We also did a shopping and eating day in New London, what a cute little town. Great shopping and eating! The host is very friendly, welcoming, responsive, and accommodating! Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

Imperfections: Much like a human being (as we all have our imperfections and flaws - but when viewed through the proper lense, these imperfections add to our uniqueness and beauty!) this house has its own imperfections. It is an older house, so If you’re looking for a “brand new” & “perfect” house to stay at, this would not be that House. But all imperfections are quickly forgotten and are easily overlooked when taking into account the overall cool location & beautiful ambiance. Overall this is a great AirB&B!

Really enjoyed the stay. The place was beautiful and peaceful. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. Peter was very responsive and helpful to ensure we had a great time according to what we were expecting.

This home was very comfortable. Everything I needed was provided for me. Melissa communicated with me when necessary. When I had a question, I could always text her and she had an alternate person that I could’ve contacted if necessary. I love staying at Melissa‘s home! This is the third year in a row that I’ve stayed and I like it more each year!

It was furnished and stocked beyond expectations. We had plenty of room and was the perfect evening escape for our family to gather together with after busy days.

Amazing host, beautiful property. This was the perfect location for our wedding. We drove over 8 hours and were able to host MANY friends and family during the weekend! I absolutely love that they are pet friendly, my dogs enjoyed the property! I got some amazing photos taken with views of the water and along the walking paths! We had a wonderful weekend and have talked about booking again!!!

The neighborhood was very quiet during the day. At night, so easy to fall asleep. Love the screened porch. Perham is a fun town to visit, lots of cute shops, Jean's nursery, Common Grounds Coffee and the Bay Window fabric store....something for everyone. Lake is very clean.

My guest and I had an amazing stay and didn’t have an issue getting settled in. Dana was very understanding and a great host to communicate with. Thank you guys for letting us stay at your air bnb!

A beautiful home and was such a nice bonus to have the pontoon! We thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides, campfire and sitting in the deck. The house is spacious so was enough room without feeling crowded with 6 adults, 4 kids and several dogs! Only suggestion would have is adding a bed to the office or letting guests know they can bring an air mattress for a private room!

We had another incredible stay in glenwood! I absolutely love the home, it’s cute and cozy. I enjoyed hearing the waves from the lake at nighttime through my windows, lots of rooms for the kids to play, we enjoyed the screened in room for games on rainy days. The lake was beautiful and clean, we found tons of stuff to do locally. Emily even bought us a muffin tin when we asked if the cabin had one. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed swimming right off the dock and fishing! Already planning next years return trip!

Perfect for a local staycation for a group of friends who wanted to craft and be away from home.

Great lake. Water is as clear as the photos show. The beach area was great for the kids. Very private feel to the place. Excellent outdoor seating- a great place to gather. Beds were comfortable. Adequate supplies provided. Emily had excellent communication throughout the entire process. We had a great vacation!

This place was PERFECT for a fall weekend getaway!!!! It was way more spacious than we were expecting for our 3 large families. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard and lake front was perfect for all our kids to play outside all day. So beautiful and peaceful! The parents loved sitting on the screened in porch. Anne was a gracious and accommodating host and we would gladly stay again!

We stayed during February with 6 adults, 4 kids and a baby. It was on the smaller side with all of us especially in the winter but we knew that going in so we enjoyed access to a nearby hotel pool, the playground nearby, games and crafts with the family, and bundled up walks outside. This place was the cleanest place we have stayed at. Anything we requested for our stay was either in there before we arrived or came within one hour of being requested. This was an enjoyable stay so thank you for your hospitality!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Place was great and had everything we needed! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you for letting us into your home! One thing I noticed is the discrepancy on the check in time. When I booked the reservation it said 3pm however I believe the actual time was 4pm. Denise was very communicative regarding this and we worked out the details.

The beach, the house and lake where beautiful. Beach was well maintained. Lake was clear with little to no weeds by shore. House had plenty of room and was well maintained. Close neighbors but still a nice location. The only thing that I wish they would have had was the Lilly pad. It was not a deal breaker just would have been something else for the kids to do. Also an umbrella on the deck would have been nice. Otherwise our family enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and fun!
