Our family enjoyed staying at this cabin. Lots of sweet and fun memories were made here. Travis was very responsive and friendly. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. We are thankful to Travis for being understanding and extending our stay for 2 hours. We will definitely recommend this place to other people. Thank you!

Great location right on the lake and walkable paths around. This was our first time to Alexandria in a long time and it was a great place to stay and explore all the new things in the city. Tom’s house was very clean, great amenities and we especially liked the wonderful scent to the bath towels! We would definitely stay at this place again if we were in the area

This home was the perfect place for a cozy girls weekend! The home was spacious, extremely clean and very well maintained. Sarah was flexible with us to check in and was extremely responsive. We will be back for sure!!

Karin's Airbnb met all our expectations. We enjoyed a clean, relaxing friend reunion with plenty of spots to relax. Karin was so responsive!!! I had messaged her with a couple of things we noticed after we checked in so she would know, and Karin responded immediately. The very best was, after checking out and driving down the road, i realized I had left my phone in the house. We went back but could not access our lock code, figuring it was past checkout time. Karin noticed our repeated calls from a friend's phone while she was in a Bible study and felt we really needed a quick response, so she did. We were able to get back into the house with her reassurance and retrieve my phone! Whew! Karin was very kind in all of her correspondences, very responsive, and a wonderful host! I would stay there again and again!

This place is AMAZING! My husband and I traveled with our 4 and 2 year old boys and they had a blast. The beach was sandy and shallow which was perfect for them! They loved all the frogs on the property as well. The big grassy yard was perfect for running around. Their favorite thing was the robot vacuum 😂 Some reviews said there was no outside furniture but when we were there, there was a bistro set for outside. Which was super nice! Love the sunshine over the lake with the fireplace going in the background. Even tho there was no stove/oven it really didn’t matter. The toaster oven worked great and so did the grill outside. Only “complaint” the dock was a little worn and in some places felt like you shouldn’t step or at least not 2 adults at the same time. Other than that tho it was the perfect place! We will definitely be back!

Lisa’s place was beautiful! She was so easy to communicate with and left a fabulous guestbook with lots of information and recommendations. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to host a large group. The views are breathtaking. My husband and nephews had a lot of fun fishing. The lake is crystal clear. We rented a pontoon with Garfield Marina and they were wonderful to work with. We will definitely be coming back here next summer! Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Michele’s home was perfect for our family. Lots of space to spread out, comfortable beds, and everything we needed to feel at home.

Sugar Sand Retreat was a beautiful place to stay. The lakefront is gorgeous and has plenty of space for yard games. Awesome clean lake. The house was clean and has great gathering spaces to eat and play. We felt right at home. Be aware that this property is next to the public boat launch with no fence between the 2 properties. Although people came and went consistently, the area still felt safe. There are Ring cameras on the front and the back of the property, likely due to being next to the public boat launch. Just something to be aware of in the event it’s relevant to you. We had one minor repair issue and Dave and Sarah were quick to respond and sent someone out to take care of the issue right away. We sure appreciated that-great hosts! Positives of this property far outweighed the lack of privacy for our families. Beautiful property well-kept and cared for. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The pool and activity room was great for us to all gather. The condo was excellent, very comfortable beds and spaces. Only thing was we read sleeps up to 12 people which was not accurate for the unit we were in. We will plan a getaway there again. So beautiful!
