Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Park undercover in a lock up garage and walk to the main amenities. It is an 800m stroll along the waterfront to the wharf and Paihia village with a large selection of restaurants and shops. Fully self contained 2 bdrm cottage on a lifestyle farm. (Tariff is for 2 people). We have a small herd of cattle, including 3 Scottish Highlands. The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. "The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

My Dad and I just spent a very enjoyable two night stay at Anita & Waynes place. As the photos attest, this place is absolutely beachfront. The view, as many before me have said, is spectacular. You really will not get sick of it. The place is exactly as described - a genuine Kiwi bach. We throughly enjoyed the very relaxing vibe. Nothing flash but its super comfy and is full with really useful stuff. The bbq is a really nice gas WeberQ. The neighbourhood is very nice, you are located just a little away from the small Omapere village and a short drive to the well stocked Four Square in Opononi. If you are someone who needs high end luxury and all the mod-cons, this not for you. However, I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family - we had a great time.

Richard and Lynne are fantastic hosts and their place is the perfect retreat into the beauty of nature. They provide everything you could possibly need- from coffee for your morning coffee/tea to coffee and tea, basic kitchen supplies like salt, olive oil, tea, coffee, etc. All the bath soaps , cleaning supplies, laundry and dish detergents and even spot removal for the laundry! It is super comfortable- from the bed to the sofas and living room as a whole. The front porch is amazing- great place to eat a meal or sit in the comfy chairs and have coffee while enjoying the fabulous view. We even used the grill which was great too. I could go on and on about why this place is wonderful. Just book it. You won't regret! And the area is beautiful to explore- the five waterfalls to walk to, nice town of KeriKeri and easy to get to the rest of the Bay of Islands.

Everything was easy, clean and exactly how we expected it. Booking, check in and check out was uncomplicated. Definitely a great spot if you just want to relax and enjoy! Garden, terrace and house are beautiful and the short walk to the beach is amazing. We would definitely recommend this place and come again!

Valhalla North is an exquisite place! Lovely comfortable home nestled within beautiful tropical gardens on a private waterfront! Private cottage available for extra House and deck are spacious with lovely vistas of garden and ocean all around. Spacious master bedroom with a brand new ensuite. Equipped with everything one might need including a fabulous very well equipped kitchen. Home is beautifully decorated! Hosts are friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to anyone who seek beauty and serenity in a private setting.

Quick Walk to Beach and Ocean Views - multi family

We really loved our stay here. We had a family event about 15mins away from Hayden’s place and it was perfect. Such a stunning view from the balcony and a 2min walk to the beach was absolutely perfect. Would recommend stopping in Kerikeri for supplies as this is the closest town (do your groceries here). This house is great for families, friend groups and people who just want the peace & serenity that Tauranga Bay offers. Hayden was super friendly and easy going which made us feel really comfortable staying here. Made us feel welcome and had great communication. Only thing to keep in mind is that you have to take your rubbish with you which isn’t a big deal. It’s a short drive on the way back to Kerikeri so drop off was easy as Hayden supplies pre-paid bags for your rubbish. Would recommend to use as little packaged food as possible to minimise rubbish. There’s great fishing around & with fresh produce you won’t have too much waste anyway. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Michelle and Richie’s Airbnb is absolutely amazing, it has a very homely and relaxing feel to it. We loved how private the place felt and how beautiful our surroundings were. It was lovely having a fire at night and toasting marshmallows as well. Overall, Private Bliss is an awesome home and Michelle and Richie are exceptional hosts. We would love to come back again sometime, it would be amazing during the summer with the beautiful beaches nearby!
