We had a very peaceful and quiet time in the middle of the woods with wonderful animals walking around the garden.

We spent a winter month at Valentyna's place in Kärraboda and felt right at home from the beginning – we really loved the house! Check-in with door code in the middle of the night was super straightforward. The stove made sure it never got too cold, and we were able to use the wood supplies without having to buy our own wood. Despite temperatures usually below 0°C, there was enough wood. We found the unheated bedrooms to be pleasant, the bathroom could be heated separately with underfloor heating – great! For our 10 month old daughter, it was absolutely child-proof after a little restoration, and there were plenty of toys. The hourly train passing by did not bother us at all, also the iron-containing water was no problem for us. The house was also very well ventilated. The wifi was extremely good and made it easy to work from home. Valentyna was super helpful and quick to respond to messages – thank you, we will be back :-)
