Christina’s place is one of my highlights visiting Crete. The place is so peaceful and beautiful. Having your morning coffee or just stepping out first thing in the morning into the little garden in front of the apartment was a perfect way to start the day. The little village with its own slow paced commute and lovely people is another unforgettable experience. Would definitely come again!

My mother and I stayed at the stone house for 4 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. A rental car is a must at the location is 30 minutes south of Heracleion and there's no mode of public transport there. We enjoyed our time here very much.

We spent 14 nights at Samiro Home Villa. Evi was the perfect host, thoughtful, considerate and responded very quickly to all queries. Everything about the villa was clean and excellent. The grounds offered plenty of opportunities for both sun and shade and the gas barbecue made meals at home easy. Perched high up in the hills, the villa is peaceful and commands marvellous views over the mountains and countryside. It is located an easy 30 minute drive from the centre of Heraklion (recommend parking in the port area €3 all day) and around 45 minutes from the major archaeological sites at Gortys, Phaistos and Agia Triada.
