We felt very comfortable at Lisle's place. It was all exactly as described and Lisle and her husband were great hosts who made us feel welcome and helped us at all times. Nearby are very quiet and we felt very sure. We used the property as a starting point for hikes in the Royal Natal National Park and also got many recommendations from Lisle. We would come back anytime and highly recommend the place. When you are there, be sure to order a cheese platter from Lisle:)

Die Kliphuis is a slice of heaven. The house is super cute and the view amazing. The rolling mountains are something out of “The sound of music” We had such a great time with our young boys who got to roam around, and as a family we went on lovely walks. The neighborhood dogs are so cute, especially Rex with his beautiful gentle personality. We are coming back for sure!! We had the perfect mini holiday before making our way down from Gauteng to the coast, only next time we’ll stay longer 🤍

Cecelia was extremely invested in making our stay worthwhile right from the very start and we were really excited from the moment we made the booking. We loved staying at her farm and everyone in her family, including her youngest son, daughter and husband showed us around. We were really sad to leave and would love to go back again sometime! It’s a great place for people who love nature and animals (they have 9 dogs!) with a lot of space to walk and explore.
