We had a fantastic stay over New Year at Emily’s place. It’s a lovely characterful cottage, fantastically located, only a few minutes walk from the town centre and all the shops/restaurants. The cottage was spotless, and the addition of a little garden for our dog was a bonus!

This place really is wonderfully appointed, all the modern conveniences you could hope for: there are three different ways to make a cup of tea! It takes no time to walk from Winnersh train station, and there’s a large Sainsbury’s supermarket/grocery store just the other side of the tracks. You can fit many cars but you won’t need one. The recommended taxi companies from the house book were super professional, too. Richard and Sarah are extremely accommodating and excellent communicators. I would not hesitate to book their place again, though as my sister only plans on getting married once I doubt the need will arise.

Our group of five couples stayed here for a weekend reunion and this large house was ideal for our needs. The large kitchen was really well equipped for prep, cooking and eating (although everything initially took a some finding as there are so many cupboards!) and the two tables together made a great eating area. The main sitting room is huge and everyone felt the bedrooms were comfortable. We didn't use the garden at all, it was small relative to the size of the house but there are plenty of lanes and paths locally to walk on. We found plenty to do and a choice of places to eat within driving distance we managed to fit 5 cars into the parking area although it was a tight squeeze. Anjala was quick to respond to our only query during the weekend and overall, we'd have no hesitation about recommending this property for a weekend stay for a large group.

Posting House Barn is an absolute haven. Danni is a fantastic host and the cottage is a reflection of her attention to detail, making your stay as comfortable and homely as you could wish it to be. Everything in the cottage is luxurious - bedding, towels, furniture, appliances. The photographs do not do the decor justice it is beautiful. Location could not be better - with Stow market square right in your door step in yet when you close the door you could be in the depths of the countryside. Thank you Danni you are a fabulous host and we will absolutely be back. Xx

My wife, two grown kids, our medium sized dog and I had the pleasure of staying at Maddy and Samantha’s place in April 2025. The house is really conveniently placed on the edge of Marlborough, with Waitrose and the numerous shop, pubs and restaurants under 5 mins walk. The house was spotless and decorated with eclectic care as seen in the photos. Showers were powerful. Plenty of space for us to relax alone or together. The kitchen has plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils and enough dry herbs/spices to enhance any cooking. My only negative being no dedicated car parking spot, but not enough of a negative to detract from what was definitely a 5 star experience. We would happily stay here again.
