This is a free-standing home built specifically as a vacation rental cottage in early 2020. It is a quiet, comfortable space in a rural setting with a private patio and views of the Sierra foothills. It is a perfect spot for a family or couple wanting to visit the National Parks nearby (80 min. to Yosemite, 120+ to Sequoia and Kings Canyon). We are so glad to share our darling cottage near Yosemite National Park with you! The home is located just 20 minutes away from the south entrance of Yosemite, 8 minutes to the swimming beach at Bass Lake, and 2 minutes away from the town of Oakhurst with its restaurants, cafes, galleries and grocery stores. The home has a spacious hot tub in the back and is surrounded by massive granite boulders, giving you the true feeling of being in the Sierras.

Cozy cabin and great location. Cabin was right by the community entrance so did not have any issues locating it even though we checked in late at night. All amenities were exactly as described and kitchen cabinets were fully labeled which was really helpful. The owners had left very clear instructions for check-in, house rules as well as checkout which made the whole stay really comfortable and stress free. There was even a binder put together with details about nearby attractions which was really helpful. Owners were really great about making sure we settled in okay and were super responsive throughout our stay there. The surroundings were beautiful and we even spotted some deers right from the dining area. The Pine Mountain lake is really close by and has great beaches perfect for a relaxing day out by the Lake. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Groveland.

This air bnb was in a cozy location 20 minutes away from the park entrance. It also was near many city attractions and stores if that is how you like to travel. I definitely recommend staying here to get the cabin vibes without of being away from the town. It was also very clean and the amenities were useful. My girlfriend and I bbq’d one of the nights that we stayed. I highly recommend this place.

Cloudrest went beyond our expectations. The property is even more beautiful in person. Our favorite thing was the home theater. The couch fit me, my husband and three teenagers comfortably. The drive to Yosemite was only about 30 minutes away and there is a small town nearby. The host was responsive and went beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. I would stay again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay near yosemite.

Shannon and Sharon were amazing from the start. They provided local recommendations, hidden gem snow spots and much more. They accommodated us with an early check-in and later check-out. During our stay they were quick with communication as needed and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I highly recommend their cozy cabin/home for your weekend getaway!

Doris’s place was a very beautiful and well kept place. My family loved being there and felt like we were at home. She had everything we needed and more. The community the house is in had lake access and a playground for the kids which was great! There is no WiFi but we didn’t mind that at all. It kept my kids off the tablets and wanting to play outside more and explore! Her house was great and so was she when talking!

Savitri was extremely responsive and helpful to my many inquiries. Her husband, Joe also was friendly and welcoming. Overall, their communication was patient, informative and kind. My wife and I have stayed at many Airbnbs and we felt the value of this place wasthe best! It was an entire little house with a kitchen, bathroom and dining room. Behind and up the hill there’s an outdoor deck with a nearby fire pit and BBQ. The towels, linens, and bedding seemed new and of excellent quality. Since we drove a long distance, and the place was already clean, we were able to check in a few hours early, which was very helpful after a 6 hour journey. They brought us some fresh eggs from their hens, which we really appreciated! The house is next to a fairly busy state highway, but that was probably the only drawback. We love to cook and there were a few things lacking in that department, but we asked ahead so you were able to bring everything we needed. Wonderful place, outstanding value!!!
