Cosy Countryside views/Woodburner/Dog friendly

A Tranquil Gem We travelled from Switzerland, stayed for the weekend and from the moment we arrived, we were struck by the cottage's cozy ambiance. Thanks to the beautiful decorations, we had the most magical Christmas time. It is the perfect escape for anyone seeking peace and natural beauty. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for a self-catered stay, and the thoughtful little extras—such as a welcome basket—made us feel right at home. The bedroom is incredibly comfortable and the serene view made waking up a joy. We can’t recommend it enough and look forward to returning!

Beautiful 2 bedroom seaside retreat great location

IrynaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We've had a nice August Bank Holiday weekend at Lee's place. The caravan was clean, tidy and well looked after. A travel cot and a high chair were both available, which really helped us. There was a chilled bottle in the fridge (for adults) and games and books available (for kids). It was very thoughtful of Lee. It was a shame that the Saturday was an absolute washout and we couldn't explore the area. But this is the British summer for you! You would need to buy a day pass for any entertainment (5min walk from the caravan). However, only the swimming and the entrance to the pub and the arcade is included in the day pass. Any other activities you wish to try need to be paid for separately. Also it's worth checking swimming availability first, before purchasing the day pass, as swim times are limited. The bakery just round the corner on the main street was a great discovery. Nice walks with the kids by the sea were good too. Lee's place was great and he is a very good host.

Relaxing coastal escape for 2!

Nicole Rating, 5 stars3 months ago
Natalie’s home is just that, a home. Everything you need and a bit more (*bonus points for warm fuzzy blanket!) it is close to everything, restaurants, grocery and although there is no parking at the location, parking at the train station is so close and very affordable. I would highly recommend!

Red Gables Cottage

Lovely cottage on the grounds of another home. Close to both Tankerton and Whitstable. Home was snug and warm and a great alternative to a hotel. Sally left us a welcome pack that was a gift arriving late evening.

Mountbatten Luxury Kent Shepherds Hut & Breakfast

AlyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place was paradise for us - dragonflies, kingfishers and even a bittern! It’s in the heart of nature but with electricity and a flushing toilet and had everything we needed as a family of 3. Paula had thought of everything. The weather was on our side so every day was gorgeous. Day trips to Rye, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Canterbury were very enjoyable and the hut is in a great location. Nice kids playground in Folkestone. Lovely meal at the Five Bells in Brabourne. We heard that Boys Hall in Ashford was also good but didn’t make it there. If you are a light sleeper, I suggest ear plugs as the motorway can be heard from the hut. The highlight for us was Dottie the Labrador who lived at the property and came to visit us from time to time. My daughter is missing her already.
