My wife and I have stayed at The Fish House several times. It is a wonderful respite from our urban home life. A great place to relax and appreciate the Northern Neck lifestyle. We love it here!

Great stay in a nice, gated community! The space was comfortable and clean. The only thing was the coffee maker was a little touch and go. Not a big deal. We will be back when we’re back in the area!

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sarah’s place. Her place made us feel right at home and we loved everything about it. We definitely want to come back and get this place again. She was very helpful and responded right away about a router my husband needed to work from home.

We really enjoyed our long Easter weekend at Nataly’s 1st floor apartment in Virginia Beach! Great location:quiet,private,pretty backyard with nice deck,outside shower, and view of the water & lots of animal entertainment: Herons,Egrets,Mallards,fish,squirrels and 1 possum at night! 😆 The apartment is perfect for 2 people: Very Clean,comfy, & the Queen size Bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled so good! Loved the bathroom too! There’s so much to do, so many great places to eat at & funky bars & beer places to experience! Do yourself a favor and take a walk or rent bikes: You’re close enough to the beach-go enjoy it! We recommend “Rudee’s Tours”-The Dolphin Boat Cruise was AWESOME! We’ll be back! This was a beautiful apartment with amazing amenities. Kim and her husband were very friendly and helpful and we were within five minutes of the beach the entire time. The backyard is amazing with a hammock and a swing for the kids. We were very happy at the rooms actually had blackout curtains and we could sleep soundly. The fighter jets that fly all day are amazing to see and they fly super low so families kids and adult adults like can appreciate it.

Communication was great right from the start. Place is even better than what the pics show. Very clean which I really appreciated! The location was quiet and felt very safe! Definitely recommend this place to others!

Erin’s place was the getaway that we definitely needed. We spent our time enjoying the sunsets (stunning pastel colors across the water), watching movies, cooking together, and had a nice meal at a local diner, too (which was recommended in the listing)! The place was so clean, well equipped, and very homey/comfortable. Being situated right on the beach, where in the mornings you can see all of the bay from the windows in the living room and kitchen. Erin was so personable and responsive which we so appreciated. She gave all the information you could need about not just the AirBnB, but the surroundings as well. We felt right at home. They have wonderful neighbors who we met on the beach one of the evenings. Everyone was just so friendly. They were enjoying a beach fire and we talked for a while about how amazing the area is. We have already decided we absolutely will be staying here again! This is the best kept secret quiet beach hideaway! My partner and I LOVED it!

We love the house 🏠 clean decoration beach team. We loved the fire pits for roasting s’mores the kids love the corn hold game. Lots of trees private. The views from the deck on the lake was calming. Definitely would stay again. Host was very good responsive and friendly.

This home is absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to wake up early and watch the sun rise over the Chesapeake bay. Even though it was cold the kids enjoyed splashing in the water with their rain boots. We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at colonial Williamsburg. Afterwards we ate at Captain George’s, a place Tas recommended. It was absolutely worth it. I was also pleased with being able to make a good Thanksgiving meal. The stay was relaxing and peaceful. We would love to come back in the near future.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very beautiful and clean! It had gorgeous views and I loved sitting by the water and enjoying the nature in the backyard! The beach was about half a mile walk and we all absolutely loved the semi private beach. The hosts were super amazing and made my daughter’s birthday feel very special with surprise balloons and a very beautiful card! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely come again and recommend this property to all our friends!

Our family had a wonderful stay! Very beautiful location. The house was lovely inside and had plenty of space. We loved the windows in the sunroom looking out at the river. We spent a lot of time at the dock enjoying the river.

What a treasure this place is! We had a lovely time. The home and the property were immaculate. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully provisioned with sufficient linens of very nice quality. The appliances appear near new. This was our best Airbnb experience ever. We wanted a peaceful, quiet time away and this answered our calling. We will be back with family or friends in the future.

I booked this on the spur of the moment, having never been to Virginia Beach, and it was a fantastic weekend getaway for me and my kids! I loved being walking distance from the beach and also close proximity to shops and restaurants. The home felt like a hotel. It was beautifully appointed and spotless. Samantha the host was super responsive and friendly, and answered all my questions in minutes or less. We had a great time exploring the beaches and checking out local shops. So glad we went!

Look no further… this place is amazing! The main living room / kitchen area is huge, comfortable, and gets TONS of natural light. The private elevated patio is a great place for breakfast or general lounging. Both bedrooms are spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the space! The location is excellent, right on the main drag close to all the restaurants and eateries. It’s also a very easy walk down to the pier or over to the Shanty. Khyber was very easy to communicate with and helped accommodate our little one. 5-stars all the way!

We truly enjoyed our stay in late March. Very convenient location on the broad walk. Studio apartment was very comfortable and clean . Truly an experience , sunrise on the beach priceless. We would definitely like to return in the future.

Great place to stay with family where enjoyable waves, sunrise, sunset. We loved every moment of it, specially at night when people are sleeping and earth became quite then sounds of ocean and waves makes a different level of happiness!!! Kelly was quick responsive and flexible on check in and check out. I would love to stay there again and again whenever go there!!!

The unit was as pictured and described. Very clean. Beautiful location and view. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Very convenient location to beach, walking / running path and bike riding. Host was easy to contact, friendly and responsive.

My sister and I stayed at Dave’s beautiful apartment - elegantly decorated, equipped with everything we needed in a quiet and park-like neighborhood only a short drive from the cultural and culinary offerings in Williamsburg. The space provided each couple with individual privacy. The common spaces are cozy and very comfortable. Easy check-in, well prepared. We had a wonderful stay- highly recommended!
